Description
また、2つの摺動子から出力される電圧が中間電位となった場合にだけ切換え手段を制御し、2つの抵抗素子が電源に接続された状態で2つの摺動子から出力される電圧から回転角を検出する。このため、切換え手段を制御する回数が少なくてすむので効率よく回転角を検出することができる。
以下に第1実施形態における回転角検出装置100について説明する。

Claims (1)
- 一端が第1の導電パターンを介して電源に接続され、他端が第2の導電パターンを介して接地される抵抗体と、前記第1の導電パターンと前記第2の導電パターンとの間に設けた不感帯と、前記抵抗体の表面を摺接する2つの摺動子と、を有する回転型のポテンショメータと、
前記2つの摺動子が前記抵抗体の表面を摺接することに伴って発生する電圧を検出する制御部と、を備えた回転角検出装置であって、
一端が前記2つの摺動子のそれぞれに接続される2つの抵抗素子と、
前記制御部の制御に従って、前記2つの抵抗素子の他端と電源との接続状態を切換える切換え手段とを更に備え、
前記制御部は、前記2つの抵抗素子が電源と接続されていない状態であって、且つ、前記2つの摺動子から共に中間電圧が出力された場合に、前記切換え手段を制御し、前記2つの抵抗素子を電源に接続した状態で前記2つの摺動子から出力される電圧から前記2つの摺動子のうちの一方の摺動子が前記不感帯の上に位置すると判断して、他方の摺動子から出力される電圧から回転角を検出することを特徴とする回転角検出装置。
