Description
Claims (15)
- 渦流を用いて気流から粒子を分離するための装置であって、
内壁部を備えるハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に位置しかつ前記ハウジングから間隔をあけた本体であって、それにより、当該本体と前記内壁部との間に環状流動経路を画成している、本体と、
を備え、
前記ハウジングが、回転方向で静止しており、前記本体が、回転軸回りに前記ハウジングに対して回転可能であり、
前記本体が、
前記ハウジングの前記内壁部に向けて前記本体から前記環状流動経路内へ延在する第1組のブレードを有する羽根車セクションであって、当該装置を通る気流を発生させるために及び前記気流内に渦流を発生させるために回転可能である、羽根車セクションと、
前記ハウジングの軸方向で前記羽根車セクションの下流側に位置し、前記羽根車セクションと一体であるタービンセクションであって、前記気流から回転エネルギーを取り戻すための第2組のブレードを有する、タービンセクションと、
を備えることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記ハウジングの前記内壁部が、前記本体の形状を補完するように形付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記羽根車セクションが、前記環状流動経路の直径が前記本体の前記羽根車セクションの長さに沿うにしたがって径方向に拡大するように形付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記本体の前記羽根車セクションが、当該装置のうち汚染気流が存在する汚染空気部分内に位置し、前記タービンセクションが、当該装置のうち低減した粒子濃度を含む清浄気流部分が存在する清浄空気部分内に位置することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記羽根車セクションと前記タービンセクションとの間に位置するスプリッタを備えており、増大した粒子濃度を含む汚染気流部分を低減した粒子濃度を含む清浄気流部分から分けていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記本体の前記タービンセクションが、前記スプリッタの下流側に位置することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記本体が、当該本体を回転させるモータに接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記モータが、80krpm以上120krpm以下で前記本体を駆動することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記モータが、90krpm以上100krpm以下で前記本体を駆動することを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載の装置。
- 前記モータによって前記本体を回転させることにより、前記羽根車セクションが、15l/s以上25l/s以下の流量で当該装置内に空気を引き込ませることを特徴とする請求項7から9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記モータによって前記本体を回転させることにより、前記羽根車セクションが、約20l/sの流量で当該装置内に空気を引き込ませることを特徴とする請求項7から9のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記気流のうちの100%が、前記本体の前記羽根車セクションに沿って位置する前記環状流動経路を通過し、
前記気流のうちの75%以上95%以下が、前記本体の前記タービンセクションに沿って位置する前記環状流動経路を通過することを特徴とする請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。 - 前記気流の残りである5%以上25%以下が、前記本体の前記タービンセクションよりも前で当該装置から出ることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記気流の残りである5%以上25%以下が、下流側の分離装置に向けられることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の装置。
- 気流から粒子を分離するための装置であって、請求項1から14のいずれか1項に記載の装置、を備えることを特徴とする真空掃除機。
