Description
本発明の別の実施態様は、(a)ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして0〜0.4重量%の、イオン性モノマーの重合単位、および(b)ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして0.1重量%〜10重量%の、アクリルアミド、メタクリルアミドおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される1種以上のモノマーの重合単位を含むビニルポリマーを含む、水性接着剤組成物に関する。
(a)第1の態様の組成物の層を前記第1の基体の表面に適用し、(b)前記水性接着剤組成物の層を乾燥させて水を除去し、および(c)前記第2の基体の表面を前記層に接触させることを含み、前記第1の基体および前記第2の基体の一方または両方が1種以上のスリップ剤を含む方法である。本発明の第3の態様は、本発明の第2の態様の方法により製造された結合された物品である。
本明細書において使用される場合、下記の用語は、文脈が他のことを明確に示さない限りは、指定された定義を有する。
本実施例に記載の各ポリマーを、水性ラテックスを生産するための従来のエマルジョン重合により製造した。モノマーの全重量は300グラムであった。100グラムのラテックスのサンプルを、2グラムの水分散性ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートと混合して接着剤組成物を形成し、そしてこの混合物を、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムのフェイスに適用し、乾燥させた。乾燥接着剤組成物の量は、1平方メートルあたり2.44グラム(1.5 lb/リーム)であった。乾燥接着剤組成の層をスリップ剤(エルカミドまたはオレアミドのいずれかであると考えられた)を含んだ低密度ポリエチレンの市販フィルムのフェイスに接触させて、積層物を形成した。
カルボキシル官能性モノマー量の効果を決定するために、カルボキシル官能性モノマーを含む比較ポリマー(「P3−1C」)を、実施例ポリマー(「P3−2」)と共に、種々の割合で混合した。ポリマーおよび積層物を、上記実施例1と同様に製造し、試験した。ポリマー組成(pbw単位)は、下記の通りであった。

Claims (1)
- (a)ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして0〜0.4重量%の、イオン性モノマーの重合単位、
(b)ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして0.1重量%〜10重量%の、アクリルアミド、メタクリルアミドおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される1種以上のモノマーの重合単位、
(c)ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして20重量%以上の、1種以上の(メタ)アクリル酸の非置換のアルキルエステルの重合単位、および
(d)ビニルポリマーの重量を基準にして5重量%〜60重量%の、1種以上の非イオン性芳香族ビニルモノマーの重合単位
を含むビニルポリマーを含み、
前記ビニルポリマーが、1種以上の(メタ)アクリル酸の非置換のアルキルエステル、1種以上の非イオン性芳香族モノマー、1種以上のスルホン酸官能性モノマー、および1種以上の(メタ)アクリル酸のアミド以外のモノマーの重合単位を含まない、
水性接着剤組成物。
