Description

前記バッテリからの給電により前記エンジンを始動させるスタータ(43)と、
前記車載電源から電力供給される電動モータ(331)を備え、車両走行中に前記電動モータを駆動することによりスタビライザバー(32R,32L)の捩り剛性を変更する電動アクティブスタビライザ(31)とを備えた車両に適用され、
前記エンジンの自動停止条件と自動再始動条件とが設定されたアイドリングストップ条件に基づいて、前記エンジンを自動停止・自動再始動させるアイドリングストップ制御を車両走行中に実施可能なアイドリングストップ制御装置(10)において、
前記バッテリの残存容量の大きさを表す残存容量指標(SOCx)を取得する残存容量取得手段(14)と、
前記電動アクティブスタビライザの作動状態を検出する作動状態検出手段(S31,S42)と、
前記残存容量指標がエンジン停止許可閾値(SOCstop)以上であることを条件として含んだ前記自動停止条件が成立したか否かを判定し、前記自動停止条件が成立したと判定したときに、前記エンジンを自動停止させる停止指令手段(S13,S14)と、
前記エンジンが自動停止した後、少なくとも前記残存容量指標がエンジン再始動閾値(SOCstart)を下回ったときに成立する前記自動再始動条件が成立したか否かを判定し、前記自動再始動条件が成立したと判定したときに、前記エンジンを自動再始動させる再始動指令手段(S22,S23)と、
前記エンジンが自動停止していない状況において、前記作動状態検出手段によって前記電動アクティブスタビライザの作動が検出された場合、前記エンジン停止許可閾値を前記電動アクティブスタビライザの作動が開始される直前の閾値である第1閾値から、前記第1閾値よりも大きな第2閾値に変更することによって、前記エンジンの自動停止条件を厳しくして、前記電動アクティブスタビライザの作動中に前記残存容量指標が前記エンジン再始動閾値を下回って前記エンジンの自動再始動が行われる可能性を低減する閾値変更手段(S32,S33,S34)とを備えたことにある。
また、電動アクティブスタビライザは、車輪が路面の凹凸を通過するときなど外乱によって作動することがあり、その場合には、ドライバーの操作とは関係なく作動することになる。ドライバーの操作によってアイドリングストップが終了する(エンジンが自動再始動する)場合と、ドライバーの操作とは無関係にアイドリングストップが終了する場合とでは、後者の方がドライバーに違和感を与えやすい。このため、電動アクティブスタビライザにおいては、その作動中にアイドリングストップが終了すると、ドライバーに違和感を与えやすいが、本発明によれば、そうした課題を良好に解決することができる。
次に、アイドリングストップの開始条件、および、終了条件を設定する変形例について説明する。上述した実施形態においては、ブレーキペダル操作によって減速走行しているときにアイドリングストップが開始されるように構成されているが、この変形例においては、ドライバーのアクセル操作が行われなくなった時点でアイドリングストップが開始されるように構成されている。

- エンジンと、
前記エンジンの回転により発電する発電機、および、前記発電機により充電されるバッテリを有する車載電源と、
前記バッテリからの給電により前記エンジンを始動させるスタータと、
前記車載電源から電力供給される電動モータを備え、車両走行中に前記電動モータを駆動することによりスタビライザバーの捩り剛性を変更する電動アクティブスタビライザとを備えた車両に適用され、
前記エンジンの自動停止条件と自動再始動条件とが設定されたアイドリングストップ条件に基づいて、前記エンジンを自動停止・自動再始動させるアイドリングストップ制御を車両走行中に実施可能なアイドリングストップ制御装置において、
前記バッテリの残存容量の大きさを表す残存容量指標を取得する残存容量取得手段と、
前記電動アクティブスタビライザの作動状態を検出する作動状態検出手段と、
前記残存容量指標がエンジン停止許可閾値以上であることを条件として含んだ前記自動停止条件が成立したか否かを判定し、前記自動停止条件が成立したと判定したときに、前記エンジンを自動停止させる停止指令手段と、
前記エンジンが自動停止した後、少なくとも前記残存容量指標がエンジン再始動閾値を下回ったときに成立する前記自動再始動条件が成立したか否かを判定し、前記自動再始動条件が成立したと判定したときに、前記エンジンを自動再始動させる再始動指令手段と、

を備えたアイドリングストップ制御装置。 - 請求項1記載のアイドリングストップ制御装置において、
前記閾値変更手段は、車速が高い場合は低い場合に比べて、前記第2閾値を大きい値に設定するように構成されたアイドリングストップ制御装置。 - 請求項1または2記載のアイドリングストップ制御装置において、
前記閾値変更手段は、前記エンジン停止許可閾値を前記第2閾値に変更した後、前記作動状態検出手段によって前記アクティブスタビライザの作動終了が検出された場合、前記エンジン停止許可閾値を前記第2閾値から前記第1閾値に戻すように構成されたアイドリングストップ制御装置。
