Description
また、本発明の端子金具は、前記筒状部と前記軸状部とが軸方向の向きを変えて嵌め合わせ可能とされている。このような構成によれば、端子金具の向きを変えて筒状部と軸状部とを嵌め合わせることで、電線の配索方向を選択することができる。
また、本発明の端子金具は、前記筒状部と前記軸状部とが軸方向に対して略直交方向に並んで設けられている。このような構成によれば、軸状部と筒状部とを嵌め合わせると、複数の端子金具が軸方向に対して略直交方向に並ぶから、複数の端子金具の軸方向における位置を揃えることができる。
以下、本発明を具体化した一実施例について、図1〜図12を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
本実施例における端子金具Tは、電線40の端末部に接続されて複数が接触状態になることで複数の電線40間を接続するスプライス用の端子金具であり、電線40の端末部に接続される電線接続部10と、筒形状をなす筒状部11と、筒状部11の内側に嵌め込み可能な軸状部12と、を一体に有している。複数個の端子金具Tは、筒状部11と軸状部12との嵌め合いによって接触状態になる。以下、各構成部材において、図1における左下側を前方、右上側(電線40に接続される側)を後方とし、また、上側(電線40が圧着される側)を上方、下側を下方として説明する。
まず、各電線40の端末部に端子金具Tを接続する。電線40の端末部において絶縁被覆42を剥いで芯線41を露出させ、芯線41にワイヤバレル部13を、絶縁被覆42にインシュレーションバレル部14をそれぞれかしめ付けることで端子金具Tを電線40に圧着する。
このようにして、順に軸状部12と筒状部11とを嵌め合わせて複数の端子金具Tを接触状態にすると、複数の電線40間を接続する作業が完了する。
本実施例の端子金具Tは、電線40の端末部に接続されて複数が接触状態になることで複数の電線40間を接続する端子金具Tであり、電線40の端末部に接続される電線接続部10と、筒形状をなす筒状部11と、筒状部11の内側に嵌め込み可能な軸状部12と、を有し、筒状部11と軸状部12との嵌め合いによって複数が接触状態になるものとされ、筒状部11および軸状部12には、嵌め合わされた状態でそれぞれの軸回りの回動を可能にする軸側円弧部25および筒側円弧部31が設けられている。この構成によれば、接触状態になった複数の端子金具Tは、それぞれが嵌め合わせ部において軸回りに回動できるから、複数の端子金具Tの並び形状をフレキシブルに変えることができる。
次に、本発明を具体化した実施例2に係る端子金具50を図13〜図23によって説明する。
本実施例の端子金具50は、筒状部51と軸状部52とが軸方向(前後方向)にずれて設けられている点で、実施例1とは相違する。なお、実施例1と同様の構成には同一符号を付して重複する説明を省略する。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施例では、軸状部12(52)には軸側円弧部25(53)が設けられ、筒状部11(51)には筒側円弧部31(57)が設けられているが、これに限らず、円弧部は、筒状部または軸状部の一方のみに設けてもよく、例えば、一方を円筒形状、他方を多角形状等としてもよい。
(2)上記実施例では、軸状部12(52)と筒状部11(51)とが前後方向(軸方向)に嵌め入れられるものしているが、これに限らず、例えば軸状部と筒状部とを側方(軸方向と略直交する方向)から嵌め入れるものとしてもよく、例えば側方に開放された筒状部に、側方から軸状部を嵌め入れることによって筒状部が弾性的に広がった後、閉じ方向に弾性復帰して嵌め合わされるものとしてもよい。

Claims (2)
- 電線の端末部に接続されて複数が接触状態になることで複数の前記電線間を接続する端子金具であり、
前記電線の端末部に接続される電線接続部と、
一方向に延びる底壁部の一面側に設けられ、軸方向の両側に開口した形態で形成された筒形状をなす筒状部と、
前記底壁部の他面側に設けられ、別の端子金具の筒状部の内側に嵌め込み可能な軸状部と、
を有し、
前記別の端子金具の筒状部と、前記軸状部との嵌め合いによって複数の端子金具が接触状態になるものとされ、
前記端子金具の軸方向の向きが同じ向きであっても逆向きであっても、前記別の端子金具の筒状部と、前記軸状部とが嵌め合わせ可能とされ、
前記筒状部または前記軸状部には、嵌め合わされた状態でそれぞれの軸回りの回動を可能にする円弧部が設けられている端子金具。 - 前記筒状部と前記軸状部とが軸方向にずれて設けられている請求項1に記載の端子金具。
