Description
Claims (12)
- 磁気装荷型複合テープの製造方法であって、
熱可塑性樹脂含浸繊維トウ(24)を加熱ステーション(29)へフィードし、
異方性磁気装荷型プリプレグテープ(8)を前記加熱ステーションへフィードし、
前記磁気装荷型複合テープを製造するために、前記加熱ステーションに熱を供給して前記トウと前記テープとを接着させるステップを含み、
前記加熱ステーション(29)が、回転駆動の加熱マンドレル(20)と、前記マンドレルと連動する転圧ローラ(28)とを含み、
前記トウ及びテープがフィードされて前記転圧ローラと前記マンドレルとの間を通過し、
前記マンドレルが、前記異方性磁気装荷型プリプレグテープを所望の磁場構成とするために、前記マンドレルに埋め込まれた磁場(41,42)を有する製造方法。 - 前記マンドレルが、例えば12個の磁石を備えた6対の磁極対を生じるように、偶数個の磁石(41,42)により構成されている請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記マンドレル周りにおいて前記テープの半径が増加するのに伴い、前記磁気装荷型プリプレグテープの磁極が実質的に配向されるように、前記磁石(41,42)が弧状に配置されている請求項2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記テープが、好ましくは次の利用のために前記マンドレル周りに巻回される請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記加熱ステーションにおいて、レーザ手段(30)及び加熱窒素手段のうちの1つにより熱が供給される請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記レーザ手段が、パルス照射又は連続照射により、前記トウと前記テープとが十分に接着される温度、例えば350℃〜400℃の範囲の温度を与える請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- 前記トウ及び前記テープのフィード速度が0.1〜1m/sの範囲である請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記加熱マンドレル(20)が、前記複合テープを所望の形状に成形するために設けられている請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記マンドレルが、120℃〜200℃の範囲の温度にまで加熱される請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記マンドレルは、実質的に円筒であり、交互に配置された磁極対(41,42)が、前記円筒の内側及び外側表面に近接して放射状に配置されている請求項2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記マンドレルが、高温空気等の加熱手段(21)により加熱されるように配置されている請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
- 前記マンドレルが巻回装置により回転するように配置されている請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
