Mg:3〜8wt%
RE:0.1〜0.6wt%(但し、REは純度80〜100wt%のCeまたは純度80〜100wt%のLaのいずれか一方からなる)、好ましくは0.2〜0.5wt%
Ca:0.1〜1.3wt%
Al:0.1〜2.0wt%
残部:Fe及び不可避的不純物(Sを含んでいてもよい。)
Si:30〜80wt%
Mg:9〜25wt%
RE:0.3〜1.8wt%(但し、REは純度80〜100wt%のCeまたは純度80〜100wt%のLaのいずれか一方からなる)
Ca:0.1〜6.0wt%
Al:0.1〜6.0wt%
この場合も、黒鉛球状化処理剤がさらにSを含んでいてもよい。
ワイヤの長さ当たりの価格が高いため、少量で所望の組成を得るために、ワイヤ内には各元素の濃度が高い黒鉛球状化処理剤が封入される。
Si:75wt%、
Mg:5.1wt%、
Ca:0.7wt%または2.0wt%
Al:0.7wt%または2.0wt%
RE:0.15wt%、0.3wt%、0.6wt%または1.3wt%、
S:0.33wt%、0.67wt%または2.0wt%
残部:Fe及び不可避的不純物
Mg:0.075wt%
Ca:0.01wt%または0.03wt%
Al:0.01wt%または0.03wt%
RE:0.002wt%,0.004wt%,0.008wt%または0.019wt%
S:0.005wt%、0.010wt%または0.030wt%
上記の量のMgを添加した結果、黒鉛球状化処理後に溶湯中に含まれるMg量は約0.045wt%であった。
C:3.5〜3.7%、
Si:2.4〜2.6%、
Mn:0.5〜0.6%
(条件1)REがCeまたはLaのいずれか一方のみからなる
(条件2)RE添加量が0.001〜0.009wt%の範囲内にある
(条件3)Ca添加量が0.001〜0.02wt%の範囲内にある
(条件4)Al添加量が0.001〜0.02wt%の範囲内にある
を同時に満たしているものに付けている。
なお、「○」が付けられている試料は全てRE/Sが0.06〜1.60の範囲にある。
表1において、試料No.10〜16では、REとして上述したミッシュメタルを用いている。
Claims (8)
- 黒鉛球状化剤を溶湯に添加することにより黒鉛を球状化する球状化処理方法であって、
前記黒鉛球状化剤が、30〜80wt%のSiと、Mgと、純度80〜100wt%のCeまたは純度80〜100wt%のLaのいずれか一方からなるRE(希土類元素)と、Caと、Alと、を含み、
前記黒鉛球状化剤を、溶湯全体に対して、REが0.001〜0.009wt%、Caが0.001〜0.02wt%、Alが0.001〜0.02wt%添加されること、かつ、黒鉛球状化処理の後に溶湯に0.03〜0.07wt%のMgが含まれること、という条件を満たすように添加することを特徴とする球状化処理方法。 - 前記黒鉛球状化剤がさらにSを含み、溶湯に対するREの添加量が0.002〜0.008wt%となり、かつ、溶湯に対するREの添加量の溶湯に対するSの添加量の比が0.06〜1.60となるように前記黒鉛球状化剤を添加する、請求項1記載の球状化処理方法。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤が、Siを30〜80wt%、Mgを3〜8wt%、純度80〜100wt%のCeまたは純度80〜100wt%のLaのいずれか一方からなるREを0.1〜0.6wt%、Caを0.1〜1.3wt%、Alを0.1〜2.0wt%含み、前記黒鉛球状化剤をサンドイッチ法により溶湯に添加することを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の球状化処理方法。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤が、Siを30〜80wt%、Mgを9〜25wt%のMg、純度80〜100wt%のCeまたは純度80〜100wt%のLaのいずれか一方からなるREを0.3〜1.8wt%、Caを0.1〜6.0wt%、Alを0.1〜6.0wt%含み、前記黒鉛球状化剤をワイヤフィーダ法により溶湯に添加することを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の球状化処理方法。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤が、粒径1〜5mmの粒状であることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の球状化処理方法。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤が、長さが5〜70mmの塊状であることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の球状化処理方法。
- 前記黒鉛球状化剤が、粒径0.1〜1.0mmの黒鉛球状化剤粒子を連続的に包含するワイヤ状であることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の球状化処理方法。
- 請求項1から7のうちのいずれか一項に記載の球状化処理方法を実行した後に、球状化処理が施された溶湯を鋳型へ注湯する鋳造方法であって、前記球状化処理方法が実行されるときの溶湯の温度が1400〜1500℃、球状化処理が施された溶湯を鋳型へ注湯するときの溶湯の温度が1270〜1370℃である、鋳造方法。
