Description
このため、この発明の液体燃料燃焼装置は、燃焼運転停止時及び停電停止時にノズルから噴射される液体燃料の遮断を速やかに行うことができ、燃料後垂れを生じることがない。
この液体燃料燃焼装置1は、図2に示すように、制御部10によって、燃焼開始時t1に、燃料ポンプ3の駆動開始と同時に電磁弁9への通電を開始し、電磁弁9を閉動作させて分岐管8を閉鎖する。駆動された燃料ポンプ3は、燃料タンク2の液体燃料を吸油管5を介して吸引し、送油管6に圧送する。送油管6に圧送された液体燃料は、分岐管8が閉鎖されているので燃料タンク2に戻されることはなく、ノズル4から噴霧状に噴射され、燃焼用空気と混合して燃焼される。

Claims (2)
- 燃料タンクの液体燃料を圧送する燃料ポンプの吐出側を送油管を介してノズルに接続し、前記燃料ポンプが圧送する液体燃料を前記ノズルから噴射させて燃焼させる液体燃料燃焼装置において、前記燃料ポンプと前記ノズルとの間の前記送油管の分岐部から分岐して下方に延びる分岐管を設け、前記分岐管の下方先端を前記燃料タンク内に貯められた液体燃料の液面よりも上方位置に開口させ、前記分岐管には前記送油管の分岐部と同一高さ以下であって、且つ前記ノズルの配設位置と同一高さ以下に位置させて通電時に閉動作する電磁弁を配置し、前記燃料ポンプの駆動停止と同時に前記電磁弁への通電を遮断し、前記送油管に液体燃料の圧力により動作する空気抜き弁を配置し、前記空気抜き弁は空気抜き管により前記電磁弁よりも下方の前記分岐管に接続したことを特徴とする液体燃料燃焼装置。
- 前記燃料ポンプの駆動開始から一定時間遅延して前記電磁弁への通電を開始することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体燃料燃焼装置。
