Description
本出願は、すべての意味において全体として参照により本明細書に組み込まれる2010年11月12日に出願された「TEMPERATURE SENSING ANALYTE SENSORS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING AND USING SAME」と題する米国特許仮出願第61/413,365号(ドケット番号BHC104015(BHDD/026/L)の優先権を主張する。
本発明のいくつかの態様にしたがって、改善された温度センシング性分析対象物センサが提供される。上述したように、BGM内の温度のモニタリングは高められた精度を提供することができるが、温度は、実際の反応場所に相対的に近い位置において、すなわち、分析対象物センサのボディ上(たとえば試験ストリップ上)でセンシングすることが望ましい。本明細書においては、温度センサを分析対象物センサのボディ上に含めることを「オンボディ温度センサを有する」という。

Claims (5)
- コンタクト結合部分及びセンシング部分を有する第一の電極、
コンタクト結合部分及びセンシング部分を有する第二の電極、
前記第一の電極及び前記第二の電極の前記センシング部分と接触する状態で提供され、それらの間に延伸されるアクティブ領域、
前記アクティブ領域から前記第二の電極の前記コンタクト結合部分までの導電路の少なくとも一部を含む熱電対部分を含む、前記第一及び第二の電極から形成される熱電対、及び
前記第一の電極と前記第二の電極との間に延伸されるヒューズ部材を含み、
前記ヒューズ部材が前記第一の電極と同じ材料で製造されている、分析対象物センサ。 - 前記ヒューズ部材が、250mV未満である溶断特性値を有する、請求項1記載の分析対象物センサ。
- 前記ヒューズ部材が、分析対象物計測試験中に前記アクティブ領域を跨いで受電されるように適合された定電圧バイアス未満である溶断特性値を有する、請求項1記載の分析対象物センサ。
- 前記熱電対部分が、前記第二の電極の前記コンタクト結合部分における参照接合部及び前記ヒューズ部材に隣接するセンシング接合部から延伸される炭素系トレースを含む、請求項1記載の分析対象物センサ。
- コンタクト結合部分及びセンシング部分を有する作用電極、
コンタクト結合部分及びセンシング部分を有する対極電極又は参照電極、
前記作用電極、及び、前記対極電極又は参照電極の前記センシング部分と接触する状態で提供され、それらの間に延伸されるアクティブ領域、ならびに
前記対極電極又は参照電極の前記コンタクト結合部分とセンシング部分との間に接続され、前記対極電極又は参照電極の導電路の少なくとも一部を含む熱電対部分を含む、前記作用電極、及び、前記対極電極又は参照電極から形成される熱電対、

前記コンタクト結合部分と電気的に接触する状態で提供されたヒューズ部材溶断回路と、を含む分析対象物試験システム。
