Claims (6)
- 測定対象物の角度を検出するためのエンコーダであって、
前記測定対象物の回転に応じて回転させられる回転体と、
光を出射する光源と、
前記光源から出射された前記光が照射され、当該光の照射に応じて、所定の偏光方向を有する光を出射する光学素子と、
前記光学素子から出射された前記光を検出する光検出装置と、を備え、
前記光検出装置は、
複数の画素を有する光検出素子と、
少なくとも1つの前記画素からなる複数の画素領域上に当該画素領域ごとに設けられ、隣り合う前記画素領域について透過軸の方向が異なるように配置された複数の偏光フィルタと、を備え、
前記光学素子は、前記光学素子から出射された前記光の照射領域が前記複数の画素領域を含んで前記複数の画素領域上において回転するように、前記回転体の回転に応じて回転させられる、エンコーダ。 - 前記光学素子は、前記回転体に設けられることにより、前記回転体の回転に応じて回転させられる、請求項1記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記画素領域は、1つの前記画素からなる、請求項1又は2記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記光検出素子上には、前記透過軸の方向が同じ複数の前記偏光フィルタが分布させられている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記偏光フィルタは、前記透過軸に平行な方向に延び且つ前記透過軸に垂直な方向に並ぶ複数の溝が設けられた構造体である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項記載のエンコーダ。
- 回転体と、
光を出射する光源と、
前記光源から出射された前記光が照射され、当該光の照射に応じて、所定の偏光方向を有する光を出射する光学素子と、
前記光学素子から出射された前記光を検出する光検出装置と、を備え、
前記光検出装置は、
複数の画素を有する光検出素子と、
少なくとも1つの前記画素からなる複数の画素領域上に当該画素領域ごとに設けられ、隣り合う前記画素領域について透過軸の方向が異なるように配置された複数の偏光フィルタと、を備え、
前記光検出装置は、前記回転体に設けられることにより、前記回転体の回転に応じて回転させられる、エンコーダ。
