Description
Claims (10)
- 第二級アルコール化合物を第一級アルコール化合物から分離する方法であって、第二級アルコール化合物と第一級アルコール化合物の混合物を提供することと、前記混合物を、前記第一級アルコール化合物を酸触媒の存在下でアシル化するのに十分な量の式1のアシル化剤と反応させて、前記第二級アルコール化合物及びアシル化第一級アルコール化合物を含む部分アシル化混合物を形成することと、
- 前記混合物は、過半量の前記第二級アルコール化合物及び半量未満の前記第一級アルコール化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
- 前記アシル化剤は、前記第一級アルコール化合物のモル量の2倍以上で存在する、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
- 前記酸触媒は、前記アシル化剤の0.05〜10モル当量の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
- 前記第二級アルコール化合物は、蒸留、カラムクロマトグラフィ、または結晶化のうちの1つ以上によって前記アシル化第一級アルコール化合物から分離される、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
- 前記第二級アルコール化合物は、分別蒸留によって前記アシル化第一級アルコール化合物から分離される、請求項5に記載の前記方法。
- 前記第二級アルコール及び第一級アルコール化合物は、C3−30ヒドロカルビルアルコールの異性体である、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
- C3−30ヒドロカルビルアルコールは、C1−10ヒドロカルビルエーテル部分をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の前記方法。
- 前記第二級アルコール及び第一級アルコール化合物は異性体である、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
- 前記部分アシル化混合物は、アシル化第二級アルコール化合物をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の前記方法。
