Description
本プロセスは、第一級アルコール化合物からいかなる第二級アルコール化合物をも分離するのに有用であり、任意の好適な第一級アルコール化合物と第二級アルコール化合物の混合物を用いてもよい。好ましくは、第一級アルコール化合物及び第二級アルコール化合物は、実質的に類似した沸点、つまり１５℃以下の沸点差（大気圧にて）、より好ましくは１２℃以下の沸点差、さらにより好ましくは１０℃以下の差を有する。第一級アルコール化合物及び第二級アルコール化合物は、異性体であることが好ましい。好ましくは、第一級アルコール化合物と第二級アルコールの化合物の混合物は、過半量の第二級アルコール化合物及び半量未満の第一級アルコール化合物を含む。より好ましくは、混合物は、９５重量％以上の第二級アルコール化合物、さらにより好ましくは９８重量％以上の第二級アルコール化合物、なおより好ましくは９９重量％以上の第二級アルコール化合物を含む。好ましくは、第二級アルコール及び第一級アルコール化合物は、Ｃ３−３０ヒドロカルビルアルコールの異性体であり、より好ましくは、Ｃ３−３０ヒドロカルビルアルコールは、Ｃ１−１０ヒドロカルビルエーテル部分を有する。最も好ましくは、アルコール化合物の混合物は、２−メトキシプロパン−１−オールと１−メトキシプロパン−２−オールの混合物である。
Claims (1)
- 前記混合物は、過半量の前記第二級アルコール化合物及び半量未満の前記第一級アルコール化合物を含む、請求項１に記載の前記方法。
