Claims (12)
- 化石燃料の燃焼を改善するための燃料添加物であって、
鉄である第1の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物と、
前記第1の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物が溶解されている溶媒と、
前記溶媒中にコロイド懸濁液を形成する、オーバーベースのマグネシウムである第2の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物と、
を含み、
前記燃料添加物中の鉄及びマグネシウムの濃度は、重量で0.1PPMから15PPMまでであり、
前記燃料添加物は、200nmから2500nmの波長バンドにわたって鉄又はマグネシウムのいずれか又は両方とスペクトル的に相補的である第3の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物を含み、前記第3の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物は、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、鉄、スズ、セリウム、マンガン、銅、コバルト、ニッケル、パラジウム、及びプラチナから成るグループから選択され、
前記化石燃料の燃焼室の中に導入される燃料添加物粒子が、分子粒子サイズのものである、
ことを特徴とする燃料添加物。 - 前記燃料添加物粒子の少なくとも50%が、分子サイズのものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- 前記溶媒は、トルエン、ヘキサノール、オクタノール、キシレン、ケロシン、燃料油、ナフサ、及び石油スピリット、又はそれらの均等物のうちの1つから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- 前記第1の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物は、ジクロロペンタジエニルFe0、シクロペンタジエニルトリカルボニルFe0、及びカルボン酸の鉄塩を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- 前記第3の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物の重量による濃度が、鉄の重量による濃度よりも低い、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。 - 前記第3の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物は、前記溶媒中に溶解されるか又は該溶媒中にコロイド懸濁液を形成する銅であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の燃料添加物。
- 前記第1の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物は、約108度Fと200度Fの間の引火点を有してナフサ溶媒中に溶解されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- 前記第2の金属、金属酸化物、又は金属化合物は、スルホン酸マグネシウム又はカルボン酸塩であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- マグネシウムが、重量で約3−8部の鉄対約1部のマグネシウム化合物の比率で鉄の濃度に追加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- 前記化石燃料は、蒸留燃料油、ガソリン、天然ガス、及び石炭を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- 前記化石燃料は、燃焼工程のうちの1つに使用されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料添加物。
- 燃焼タービン、レシプロエンジン、ボイラー及びプロセス加熱器で使用するための前記請求項1〜11のいずれか1つに記載の燃焼燃料組成物。
