Description
Claims (2)
- 画像予測復号装置の画像予測復号方法において、
画像を複数の領域に分割して符号化された圧縮データの中から、対象領域の予測信号の生成に用いるための領域を特定する識別情報の符号化データと、残差信号の符号化データと、を抽出する第1のステップと、
前記識別情報の符号化データから復号される識別情報に基づいて、前記対象領域に隣接する複数の隣接領域の候補のうち一つの隣接領域を特定し、特定した該隣接領域に付随する予測情報である、画面間予測を特定するモード情報、参照画面番号、および動きベクトルを用いて、既再生信号から、前記対象領域の予測信号を生成する第2のステップと、
前記残差信号の符号化データから前記対象領域の再生残差信号を復元する第3のステップと、
対象領域の予測信号と前記再生残差信号とに基づいて、前記対象領域の再生信号を生成する第4のステップと、
前記対象領域の再生信号を既再生信号として記憶する第5のステップと、
を含み、
前記第2のステップにおいて、
前記対象領域の左隣の隣接領域に付随する予測情報の利用可能性、及び前記対象領域の上隣の隣接領域に付随する予測情報の利用可能性が判定され、
前記左隣の隣接領域及び前記上隣の隣接領域のそれぞれに付随する予測情報が共に前記対象領域の予測信号の生成に利用可能と判定された場合には、前記左隣の隣接領域および前記上隣の隣接領域は、前記複数の隣接領域の候補とする、
ことを特徴とする、画像予測復号方法。 - 画像予測復号装置の画像予測復号方法において、
画像を複数の領域に分割して符号化された圧縮データの中から、対象領域の予測信号の生成に用いるための領域を特定する識別情報の符号化データと、残差信号の符号化データと、を抽出する第1のステップと、
前記識別情報の符号化データから復号される識別情報に基づいて、前記対象領域に隣接する複数の隣接領域の候補のうち一つの隣接領域を特定し、特定した該隣接領域に付随する予測情報である、画面間予測を特定するモード情報、参照画面番号、および動きベクトルを用いて、既再生信号から、前記対象領域の予測信号を生成する第2のステップと、
前記残差信号の符号化データから前記対象領域の再生残差信号を復元する第3のステップと、
対象領域の予測信号と前記再生残差信号とに基づいて、前記対象領域の再生信号を生成する第4のステップと、
前記対象領域の再生信号を既再生信号として記憶する第5のステップと、
を含み、
前記第2のステップにおいて、
前記複数の隣接領域の候補である左隣の隣接領域および上隣の隣接領域のそれぞれに付随する予測情報の利用可能性が判定され、
前記複数の隣接領域の候補のうち、対象領域に付随する予測情報と同じ予測情報を保有する隣接領域に付随する予測情報の利用可能性は、利用不可と判定されることを特徴とする、画像予測復号方法。
