Abstract
Description
また例えば下記特許文献2では、複数のバッテリの直並列を切り替えることで、低速時のバッテリへの充電性と高速時の大きな充電電流によるバッテリの劣化を防ぐ制御方法が提案されている。
この発明に係る駆動システムおよび駆動制御方法の適用範囲は自動車に限られることはなく、例えば電車や、さらにはより広義には、バッテリと発電装置が接続された駆動装置により被駆動部を駆動させる駆動−発電機構を有する装置に適用することができる。
以下、この発明による駆動システムおよび動制御方法を、身近なものとして電動車両およびハイブリッド車両に適用した場合を例に挙げて、各実施の形態に従って図面を用いて説明する。なお、各実施の形態において、同一もしくは相当部分は同一符号で示し、重複する説明は省略する。
図1はこの発明の実施の形態1の自動車駆動システムの構成を示す図である。図1において、自動車駆動システム1は、直流のバッテリ2と、駆動装置100と、発電装置101と、切替装置6と、駆動制御部200からなる。
駆動装置100は、バッテリ2に接続され直流電力と交流電力を相互に変換するインバータ103と、インバータ103に接続されて交流電力を機械エネルギーに変換して車両の駆動輪8を回転駆動させる回転電機であるモータ(M)3と、を有する。駆動輪8は自動車の駆動システムの場合の被駆動部となる。また自動車以外のその他の一般的な被駆動部を破線で象徴的に被駆動部80で示した。
発電装置101は、エンジン4と、エンジン4のシャフトに取付けられパワーを電力に変換する回転電機であるジェネレータ(G)5と、バッテリ2とジェネレータ5に接続され直流電力と交流電力を相互に変換するインバータ105と、を有する。
エンジン4はジェネレータ5に接続されるが、自動車の駆動輪8には接続されない。したがって、この実施の形態1の自動車はエンジン4により直接に駆動されることはない電動車両の場合を示している。
直列に接続されたアームの高電圧側の上アーム51と低電圧側の下アーム52の接続点には、モータ3の3相のうち1相のコイルが接続されている。並列接続された他の2組の上アームと下アームの接続点にはそれぞれモータ3の他の2相のコイルがそれぞれ接続されている。
発電装置101のインバータ105も図2に示された構成と同様な構成を有し、ジェネレータ5の3相のコイルと接続されている。
インバータ103およびインバータ105を構成するパワー半導体スイッチSはシリコン半導体を用いたIGBTが用いられるが、MOSFETを用いてもよい。また、パワー半導体スイッチSの材料として、シリコンカーバイド(SiC)や窒化ガリウム(GaN)などのワイドバンドギャップ半導体などを用いてもよい。
バッテリ2はリチウムイオンバッテリであるが、ニッケル水素電池等の他の二次電池でもよい。
図11において、駆動制御部200は駆動装置制御部201、発電装置制御部202、切替装置制御部203、エンジン制御部204を含む。そして詳細な図示は省略されているが車両の各所に設けられた検出器および他の制御部で構成される他の制御部及び各種検出器群300からの車両状態情報VCIに従って、駆動装置100、発電装置101、エンジン4、切替装置6を制御する。
他の制御部及び各種検出器群300からの車両状態情報VCIとしては、各種検出器からのバッテリ2発電装置101、駆動装置100の電圧DV2,DV5,DV3、他の制御部等からの、車速VS、モータ3に必要なモータ3の電力PR3,回転数RPMR3,トルクTR3,電流IR3等がある。実際にはこれらは各値を示す信号として送られてくる。
図13には駆動制御部200の制御で行われる動作の動作フローチャートを示し、この発明による制御動作を説明する。

この時、モータ3に要求される電力PR3、回転数RPMR3、トルクTR3は車両の車速VSおよび車両状態情報VCIに基づく運転状態によってきまる。この時の電力のやり取りの関係はモータ3が要求する電力PR3とバッテリ2の充電状態すなわち電圧DV2によって以下の3通りに場合分けされる。
次に、モータ3が要求する電力PR3が中程度以下であり、設定電力値PR3th以下の場合、すなわちバッテリ2およびジェネレータ5のどちらか一方だけでモータ3が要求する電力PR3がまかなえる場合であって(ステップS4)、そして、バッテリ2の充電状態すなわち電圧DV2が第2の設定電圧値DV2th2以下の場合である(ステップS8)。ステップS7では後述するようにDV2th1<DV2th2であり「No」判定となる。
上記2つの状態の場合には、バッテリ2とジェネレータ5の両方からモータ3に向けて電力が供給される(ステップS5)。
すなわちここでは、モータ3に要求される回転数PR3とトルクTR3と、バッテリ2の電圧DV2に応じてエンジン4の回転数RPM4が調整される。

またこの際、バッテリ2の電圧DV2が低下すると、発電装置101の電圧であるインバータ105、ジェネレータ5の電圧DV5を上がるために、例えばエンジン4およびジェネレータ5の回転数RPM4、RPM5が上げられる。
図6はこの発明の実施の形態2の自動車駆動システムの構成を示す図である。また図7は図6の切替装置6の各切替スイッチ601−603のON(オン)/OFF(オフ)状態とその時のバッテリ2と発電装置101の接続関係を示す図である。また図6の回路の、バッテリ2と発電装置101が並列接続された時の回路状態を図8に、直列接続された時の回路状態を図9に示す。なお図8.9は回路の切り替え接続を説明するための図である。
図6において、切替装置6は3つの切替スイッチ601、切替スイッチ602、切替スイッチ603が直列に接続されてなる。切替装置6は、切替スイッチ601の一端側に第1の接続端子611、切替スイッチ601の他端側と切替スイッチ602の一端側の接続点に第2の接続端子612、切替スイッチ602の他端側と切替スイッチ603の一端側の接続点に第3の接続端子613、切替スイッチ603の他端側に第4の接続端子614の4つの接続端子を持つ。この4つの接続端子611−614のうち、第1の接続端子611はバッテリ2の高電圧側端子H2およびモータ3すなわち駆動装置100の直流の高電圧側端子H3と接続され、第2の接続端子612はインバータ105すなわち発電装置101の直流の高電圧側端子H5と接続され、第3の接続端子613はバッテリ2の低電圧側端子L2と接続され、第4の接続端子614はインバータ105すなわち発電装置101の直流の低電圧側端子L5およびモータ3すなわち駆動装置100の直流の低電圧側端子L3と接続される。

その他の構成は実施の形態1と同様である。
また、インバータ105およびジェネレータ5は切替装置6を介してバッテリ2の低電圧側端子L2に接続されているため、インバータ105およびジェネレータ5のバッテリ2の低電圧側端子L2から見た電圧はバッテリ2の高電圧側端子H2に接続されるのに比べて小さい。このため、インバータ105およびジェネレータ5に要求される耐電圧性能を小さくすることができるため、インバータ105およびジェネレータ5を小型化することができる。
図10はこの発明の実施の形態3の自動車駆動システムの構成を示す図である。図10において、エンジン4の出力軸は自動車の駆動軸8aを介して駆動輪8に接続されている。その他の構成は実施の形態1と同様である。なお上記各実施の形態においても、モータ3は実際には駆動軸8aを介して駆動輪8に接続されている。駆動軸8aは図示を省略した回転を伝達するデファレンシャルギアを介して駆動輪8に接続されており、駆動軸8aは被駆動部として駆動輪8と同一視できる。この実施の形態3の自動車はエンジン4により直接に駆動されることがあるハイブリット車両の場合を示している。
このような構成においても実施の形態1と同様の効果を奏する。
図14はこの発明の実施の形態4の自動車駆動システムの構成を示す図である。図14において、ジェネレータ5は巻線界磁式の回転電機であり、界磁制御装置999を介してバッテリ2に接続されている。その他の基本的構成は実施の形態1と同様である。
この実施の形態4の発電装置101において、ジェネレータ5は巻線界磁式のクローポール型回転電機で構成される。界磁電力はバッテリ2から供給され、界磁電流は界磁制御装置999によって制御される。その他の基本的構成は実施の形態1と同様である。なお、界磁制御装置999はインバータ105と共に駆動制御部200の発電装置制御部202で制御される。
このような構成においては、ジェネレータ5の発電電圧はエンジン4の回転数とインバータ105のデューティに加えて象徴的に示した界磁巻線5aの電流で制御することができるため、ジェネレータ5に要求される電圧を得る自由度が上がるため、より効率の良い制御ポイントを選択することができる。この際、ジェネレータ5の動作条件は、あらかじめ計算し例えばメモリ23に格納された効率マップを使用して決定される。
実施の形態4においてジェネレータ5の界磁巻線5aはバッテリ2を接続して電力を供給しているが、バッテリ2以外の破線で示した別のバッテリ2aを接続して電力を供給してもよい。
また、上記実施の形態1から4において、ジェネレータ5はエンジン4の出力軸と直接または間接的に接続されていればよい。すなわちジェネレータ5は、エンジン4と符号C1で示すギアボックスとの間に配置されていてもよい。またジェネレータ5は、エンジン4の出力軸から符号C2で象徴的に示すようにベルト等を介して接続されたり、エンジン4の出力がギア等によって変速された出力軸に接続されていてもよい。いずれの場合においても同様の効果を奏する。
また上述のように、この発明の適用例が自動車や電車の場合、上記各実施の形態のように駆動輪8が被駆動部となるが、この発明の適用対象はこれに限定されることはなく、被駆動部を駆動装置により駆動する駆動システムであれば適用可能である。上述した図1に象徴的に破線で示した被駆動部80は、例えばベルトコンベアの駆動ローラ、回転機器の駆動軸等の種々の機器の駆動伝達部等からなる。この場合、上記各実施の形態における車両の車速VSは、被駆動部の動きにより移動する移動部の移動速度または被駆動部自身の回転速度になる。

エンジン、前記エンジンのシャフトに取り付けられ前記エンジンのパワーを電力に変換するジェネレータ、および前記ジェネレータに接続され直流電力と交流電力を相互に変換するインバータを有する発電装置と、
被駆動部を駆動するモータを有する駆動装置と、
前記駆動装置の両端間に前記バッテリと前記発電装置の接続関係を直列と並列に切り替えて接続する切替装置と、
前記発電装置および駆動装置の駆動制御と共に前記切替装置の切り替え制御を行う駆動制御部と、
を備え、
前記駆動制御部が前記切替装置により、
並列接続時には、前記駆動装置の高電圧側端子に前記発電装置および前記バッテリのそれぞれの高電圧側端子を接続し、前記駆動装置の低電圧側端子に前記発電装置および前記バッテリのそれぞれの低電圧側端子を接続し、

前記駆動装置の低電圧側端子が前記発電装置の低電圧側端子に接続され、前記駆動装置の高電圧側端子が前記バッテリの高電圧側端子に接続される、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の駆動システム。 - 前記ジェネレータは、巻線界磁式のクローポール型回転電機であり、
前記発電装置が、前記クローポール型回転電機の界磁電流を制御する界磁制御装置をさらに含む、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の駆動システム。 - バッテリと、エンジン、前記エンジンのシャフトに取り付けられ前記エンジンのパワーを電力に変換するジェネレータ、および前記ジェネレータに接続され直流電力と交流電力とを相互に変換するインバータを有する発電装置と、被駆動部を駆動するモータを有する駆動装置と、を備えた駆動システムにおいて、
並列接続時には、前記駆動装置の高電圧側端子に前記発電装置およびバッテリのそれぞれの高電圧側端子を接続し、前記駆動装置の低電圧側端子に前記発電装置およびバッテリのそれぞれの低電圧側端子を接続し、
直列接続時には、前記駆動装置の高電圧側端子に前記発電装置および前記バッテリの一方の高電圧側端子を接続し、前記駆動装置の低電圧側端子に前記発電装置および前記バッテリの他方の低電圧側端子を接続し、前記発電装置と前記バッテリの前記駆動装置に接続されていない端子同士を接続して、
前記駆動装置の両端間に前記バッテリと前記発電装置とを直列接続と並列接続とに切り替えて制御を行い、
前記バッテリと前記発電装置とが並列接続されている時に、
前記ジェネレータの回転数、および前記ジェネレータのトルクに対する、前記エンジンの効率、前記ジェネレータの効率、および前記インバータの効率が掛け算され前記バッテリの電圧で補正された合計効率が予め定められた効率マップを用いて、前記ジェネレータに要求される出力の等出力ライン上で前記合計効率が最大となるように、前記モータに要求される回転数およびトルクと前記バッテリの電圧とに応じて前記ジェネレータの回転数に対応する前記エンジンの回転数を変更させる、駆動制御方法。
