Claims (4)
- 車幅方向に架け渡されて両端が支持され、かつ前記車幅方向における中央部に車両の前方から荷重が入力された際に、前記両端を支点として前記中央部が前記車両の後方側に向けて変位することによりエネルギーを吸収する車両用バンパー補強構造において、
前記車幅方向に架け渡されて両端が支持されるベース部材と、
前記ベース部材に固定されるとともに、前記ベース部材の前記車幅方向における中央部にそれぞれ配置され、かつ前記中央部の曲げ強度を増大させる第1補強部材および第2補強部材とを備え、
前記車幅方向における前記ベース部材の中央部に前記車両の前方から予め定められた所定の荷重が入力された場合に、前記第1補強部材と前記第2補強部材との両端部が前記車両の後方に向けて屈曲するように、前記各補強部材の前記車幅方向における長さが異なって形成され、
前記ベース部材は、中空状に形成されるとともに、前記車両の前方側に向けて背面の一部が窪んだビード部を備え、
前記第1補強部材と前記第2補強部材とのうちの一方の補強部材は、前記ベース部材の背面に取り付けられるとともに、前記ビード部に挿入される突起部を備えている
ことを特徴とする車両用バンパー補強構造。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用バンパー補強構造において、
前記ベース部材の中央部に前記車両の前方から荷重が入力された際における前記各補強部材の端部に作用する曲げモーメントと、前記各補強部材の許容される曲げモーメントとに応じて前記各補強部材の前記車幅方向における長さを定めている
ことを特徴とする車両用バンパー補強構造。 - 請求項1または2に記載の車両用バンパー補強構造において、
前記第1補強部材は、前記車両の前後方向における前記ベース部材のいずれか一方の側に配置され、前記第2補強部材は、前記車両の前後方向における前記ベース部材のいずれか他方の側に配置されている
ことを特徴とする車両用バンパー補強構造。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の車両用バンパー補強構造において、
前記車幅方向における両側から前記車両の前方に向けて延出したサイドメンバーを更に備え、
前記ベース部材の両端が、前記サイドメンバーの先端部に連結されて支持されている
ことを特徴とする車両用バンパー補強構造。
