Description
(2)前記モース硬度5以上の鉱物がケイ酸塩鉱物である前記(1)に記載のガラス合紙。
(3)前記モース硬度5以上の鉱物が結晶性シリカである前記(1)または前記(2)に記載のガラス合紙。
(4)前記モース硬度5以上の鉱物の含有量が100ppm以下である前記(1)〜(3)のいずれか1項に記載のガラス合紙。
(1)原料パルプ製造時に、原料となる木材原料に対する砂、土等の異物混入の管理を強化する。
(2)砂、土の混入程度が高いチップよりも原木の使用割合を多くする。
(3)チップスクリーンでの砂、土等の異物混入の管理を強化する。
ガラス合紙(a)約1500gをJIS P8251に準じて灰化処理した。次に、その灰に水500mlを加えて分散させて、かき混ぜ、沈降する鉱物を流さないようにして、パルプ由来の灰分主体のスラリー部を排出した。新たに水500mlを加えて、パルプ由来の灰分主体のスラリー部を排出することを3回繰返し、最終的に残ったものを乾燥させて、灰(b)とした。次に、灰(b)をX線回折装置によって鉱物成分を特定した。特定した鉱物による検量線を作成し、灰(b)におけるモース硬度5以上の鉱物の含有割合(c)をX線回折装置によって求めた。このようにして、ガラス合紙中の鉱物の含有量を下記の式(1)にて求めた。なお、上記の水による鉱物の精製処理は省略することもできる。その場合はJIS P8251に準じて灰化処理したものを灰(b)とした。

ここで、m:モース硬度5以上の鉱物の含有量(ppm)
a:ガラス合紙の質量(g)
b:前記記載の最終的に残った灰の質量(g)
c:前記記載の灰(b)におけるモース硬度5以上の鉱物の含有割合
300mm×300mmのフラットパネルディスプレイ用ガラス板に、310mm×310mmガラス合紙を当て、0.7MPaで10秒間プレスを行なう方法において、300mm×300mmのフラットパネルディスプレイ用ガラス板は同一として、310mm×310mmガラス合紙を1回プレスする毎に新規なものに変えて、2000回プレスを繰返し、試験後のフラットパネルディスプレイ用ガラス板を得た。
上記試験後のフラットパネルディスプレイ用ガラス板表面をブラッシング洗浄した後、スポットライトをガラス板表面に当て、ガラス板表面の傷を目視及び顕微鏡にてカウントした。傷入り性の評価は以下のように行った。
◎:0個または1個または2個の傷あり
○:3個または4個の傷あり
×:5個以上の傷あり
市販NBKP(針葉樹晒クラフトパルプ)100%(A)のパルプスラリーを長網抄紙機で抄紙し、乾燥させ、坪量45g/m2のガラス合紙を得た。抄紙に当たって、除塵装置としてクリーナーとスクリーンを使用した。
市販NBKP100%(A)に替えて市販NBKP100%(B)とした以外は実施例1と同様にして、ガラス合紙を得た。
長網抄紙機で抄紙するにあたり、実施例2の1次クリーナー処理時のパルプスラリー濃度(100%)に対して、パルプスラリー濃度を75%とした以外は実施例2と同様にしてガラス合紙を得た。
長網抄紙機で抄紙するにあたり、実施例2の1次クリーナー処理1段に対して、1次クリーナー処理を2段とした以外は実施例2と同様にしてガラス合紙を得た。
長網抄紙機で抄紙するにあたり、実施例2の1次クリーナー処理時のパルプスラリー濃度(100%)に対して、パルプスラリー濃度を125%にした以外は実施例2と同様にしてガラス合紙を得た。
市販NBKP100%(A)に替えて市販NBKP100%(C)とした以外は実施例1と同様にしてガラス合紙を得た。
尚、市販NBKP(A)、(B)、(C)は、異なる産地の木材に由来する針葉樹晒クラフトパルプである。
Claims (5)
- セルロースパルプを主成分とし、坪量が10〜100g/m2であり、モース硬度5以上の鉱物の含有量が20〜400ppmであるガラス合紙。
- 前記モース硬度5以上の鉱物がケイ酸塩鉱物である請求項1に記載のガラス合紙。
- 前記ケイ酸塩鉱物がネソケイ酸塩鉱物、ソロケイ酸塩鉱物、サイクロケイ酸塩鉱物、イノケイ酸塩鉱物、フィロケイ酸塩鉱物、テクトケイ酸塩鉱物から選ばれるいずれかである請求項2に記載のガラス合紙。
- 前記モース硬度5以上の鉱物が結晶性シリカである請求項1または請求項2に記載のガラス合紙。
- 前記モース硬度5以上の鉱物の含有量が20〜100ppmである請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のガラス合紙。
