Claims (2)
- 密封空間側を向いて延びるシールリップを備え、このシールリップの内周面に、回転体の外周面と摺動可能に密接されるリップエッジと、このリップエッジから外部空間側へ向けて大径になる反密封空間側円錐面が形成され、前記反密封空間側円錐面に、前記回転体が一定方向へ回転することによって前記リップエッジ側へ向けてねじポンプ作用を生じる複数のねじ突条が形成され、各ねじ突条の裾部に、切欠又は凹部からなる所要数のダスト捕捉部が形成されたことを特徴とする密封装置。
- ねじ突条がリップエッジから延びて高さ及び幅が略均一の第一ねじ突条と、この第一ねじ突条におけるリップエッジと反対側の端部から延びて、幅及び反密封空間側円錐面からの隆起高さが長さ方向中間部で最も大きくなるように漸次変化する舟底形の第二ねじ突条からなり、ダスト捕捉部が、前記第二ねじ突条の裾部に沿って所定間隔で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封装置。
