図1は、本発明の実施の形態にかかる内視鏡システムの概略構成を示す模式図である。図2は、本発明の実施の形態にかかる内視鏡システムで使用する光コネクタの概略構成を示す模式図である。図2では、第1の光コネクタ11と第2の光コネクタ12とを接続しない状態で示している。

Claims (6)
- 被検体を撮像する撮像素子と、
前記撮像素子から出力される撮像信号を光信号に変換して出力する第1の光電素子を有する送信モジュールと、
前記第1の光電素子から出力された前記光信号を伝送する第1の光ファイバと、
前記第1の光電素子と接続される前記第1の光ファイバの他端を保持する第1の光コネクタと、
前記送信モジュールと前記第1の光コネクタの間に設けられ、前記第1の光ファイバが伝送する光ビームを平滑化する通信モード安定化部と、
前記第1の光コネクタと着脱可能に接続される第2の光コネクタと、
前記第2の光コネクタに保持され、前記第1の光ファイバよりコア径が大きく、前記第1の光ファイバから出力される前記光信号を伝送する第2の光ファイバと、
前記第2の光ファイバが伝送した前記光信号を電気信号に変換して出力する第2の光電素子を有する受信モジュールと、
前記第1の光コネクタに内蔵され、前記第1の光ファイバの端部から出力される前記光信号の光束径を拡大する第1レンズと、前記第1レンズが光束径を拡大した前記光信号を平行光に変換する第2レンズと、を有する第1の補正光学系と、
前記第2の光コネクタに内蔵され、前記第1の補正光学系から出力される前記光信号を集光する第2の補正光学系と、
を備え、前記第2の光ファイバは、コアとクラッドの界面のみで屈折率が不連続に変わるSI型であり、前記通信モード安定化部は、前記第1の光ファイバに伝送する前記光ビームを、前記第1の光ファイバのコアのより多くの部分を使用して前記光ビームを平滑整形し、前記SI型の第2の光ファイバに入射させることを特徴とする内視鏡システム。 - 前記第2の光ファイバは、マルチコアファイバであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡システム。
- 前記受信モジュールは、前記第2の光ファイバの端部から出力される前記光信号を集光する第3の補正光学系を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡システム。
- 前記第2の光ファイバは、前記第1の光ファイバのコアと同径のコアを複数含むマルチコアファイバであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内視鏡システム。
- 前記第2の補正光学系、および前記第3の補正光学系は、1枚以上のレンズをそれぞれ有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内視鏡システム。
- 前記第2の光ファイバの端部は、出力する前記光信号を集光するテーパ状、半球状、球状、または楔状の集光部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内視鏡システム。
