R1は、入口半径(142、図5B)であり、
R2は、出口半径(143、図5B)である。
(i)冷却剤導管内の不連続性を解消することと、
(ii)ウォータージャケット内の材料厚さを最適化し、それによって冷却剤導管と熱源の間の排気弁ブリッジなどの材料厚さを低減することと、
(iii)冷却剤の流量を増大させるように冷却剤導管のサイズを最適化することとを含む。

Claims (3)
- 内燃機関のシリンダヘッド用のウォータージャケットであって、
前記ウォータージャケット内で冷却剤の流れを可能にするように配置された冷却剤室と、
前記シリンダヘッドに装着された排気弁を受け入れるためのくぼみの近位の冷却剤の流れを可能にするように位置決めされた冷却剤導管であって、前記冷却剤室と流体連通する、冷却剤導管とを備え、
前記冷却剤導管が、複合曲線として成形され、
前記複合曲線が、θ/11<R1<θ/13および5R1<R2<9R1の関係を有する二重半径曲線であり、式中、θはシリンダ孔直径であり、R1は入口半径であり、R2は前記冷却剤導管の出口半径である、ウォータージャケット。 - 前記複合曲線内の各々の曲線が、有限半径を有する、請求項1に記載のウォータージャケット。
- 前記複合曲線が、前記曲線の一部分が、前記排気弁のくぼみの形状に対応するように成形される、請求項1または2に記載のウォータージャケット。
