Description
以下に、本願出願の当初の特許請求の範囲に記載された発明を付記する。
[C1]互いに周波数が離れている複数のチャネルを介して伝送されるペイロードのタイミング情報及び周波数情報を推定する方法であって、
前記ペイロードに関連しかつ前記互いに周波数が離れている複数のチャネルを介して伝送されるような任意の複数のプリアンブルからの複数のトレーニング・フィールドを合成し、合成値を生成するステップと、
前記合成値を用いて前記タイミング情報及び周波数情報を推定するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
[C2]前記複数のトレーニング・フィールドが、少なくとも1つのショート・トレーニング・フィールド及びロング・トレーニング・フィールドを含むことを特徴とするC1の方法。
[C3]前記複数のトレーニング・フィールドを合成するステップが、前記複数のプリアンブルからの自己相関処理した複数のトレーニング・フィールドを合成するステップを含むことを特徴とするC2の方法。
[C4]前記複数のトレーニング・フィールドを合成するステップが、前記複数のプリアンブルを用いて最大比合成を行うステップを含むことを特徴とするC2の方法。
[C5]前記複数のトレーニング・フィールドを合成するステップが、信号品質指標を用いて重み付けするステップを含むことを特徴とするC2の方法。
[C6]前記信号品質指標が、受信信号強度(RSSI)、SN比(SNR)またはエラーベクトル測定(EVM)を含むことを特徴とするC5の方法。
[C7]互いに周波数が離れている複数のチャネルを介して伝送されるペイロードのタイミング情報及び周波数情報を推定する方法であって、
前記ペイロードに関連しかつ前記互いに周波数が離れている複数のチャネルの1つを介して伝送されるプリアンブルを、信号品質指標に基づいて選択するステップと、
前記プリアンブルの複数のトレーニング・フィールドを用いて前記タイミング情報及び周波数情報を推定するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。
[C8]前記信号品質指標が、受信信号強度(RSSI)、SN比(SNR)またはエラーベクトル測定(EVM)を含むことを特徴とするC7の方法。
[C9]前記プリアンブルを選択するステップが、特定のチャネルを優先させるステップを含むことを特徴とするC8の方法。
[C10]前記特定のチャネルが、制御チャネルであることを特徴とするC9の方法。
[C11]前記特定のチャネルを優先させるステップが、前記拡張チャネルの前記信号品質指標が前記制御チャネルの前記信号品質指標を所定量超過するときにのみ拡張チャネルを選択するステップを含むことを特徴とするC10の方法。
Claims (2)
- 互いに周波数が離れている複数のチャネルを介して伝送されるペイロードのタイミング情報及び周波数情報を推定する方法であって、前記ペイロードに関連しかつ前記互いに周波数が離れている、制御チャネルと拡張チャネルとを含む複数のチャネルのそれぞれを介して伝送される複数のプリアンブルのうちの1つを、信号品質指標に基づいて選択することと、前記選択されたプリアンブルの複数のトレーニング・フィールドを用いて前記互いに周波数が離れている複数のチャネルを介して伝送される前記ペイロードの前記タイミング情報及び周波数情報を推定することとを備え、
前記複数のトレーニング・フィールドは、ショート・トレーニング・フィールド及びロング・トレーニング・フィールドのうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
前記チャネルの各々のプリアンブルを選択することは、前記制御チャネルのプリアンブルを優先させることと、前記拡張チャネルの前記信号品質指標が前記制御チャネルの前記信号品質指標を所定量超過するときにのみ、前記拡張チャネルのプリアンブルを選択することとを含む、方法。 - 前記信号品質指標が、受信信号強度インジケータ(RSSI)、信号対雑音比(SNR)またはエラーベクトル測定(EVM)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1の方法。
