― 上記空間78内で統合されたのちに、上記第1ポート48と上記第2ポート50へと供給され(第1ターボチャージャー16または第1タービン22による静圧過給)、または、
― 上記空間78内で統合されたのちに、第1ポート48、第2ポート50、第3ポート70へと供給される(複合過給、過給装置14)。
Claims (5)
- 自動車用の内燃機関であって、
第1シリンダ列(12)および第2シリンダ列(13)と、
第1排気マニホールド(40)および第2排気マニホールド(42)を有する排気通路(20)とを備え、前記第1シリンダ列(12)は第1排気管(44)と接続された前記第1排気マニホールド(40)と対応し、前記第2シリンダ列(13)は第2排気管(46)と接続された前記第2排気マニホールド(42)と対応しており、
さらに、第1ターボチャージャー(16)および少なくとも1つの第2ターボチャージャー(18)を有し、前記第1ターボチャージャー(16)は前記排気通路(20)内に配置された第1タービン(22)を含み、前記第2ターボチャージャー(18)は前記排気通路(20)内に配置された第2タービン(24)を含んでおり、
前記第1タービン(22)および前記第2タービン(24)は、少なくとも3種類の設定間で切り替え可能な、前記第1タービン(22)と前記第2タービン(24)の上流に配置された単独の調節弁(26)を用いて、選択的かつ交代的に、前記第1シリンダ列(12)および前記第2シリンダ列(13)から出る排気の少なくとも一部によって駆動可能であり、
前記調節弁(26)の第1設定においては、前記第1排気管(44)を前記第1タービン(22)の第1ポート(48)に連通すると共に、前記第2排気管(46)を前記第1排気管(44)とは分離して前記第1タービン(22)の第2ポート(50)に連通し、かつ前記第1排気管(44)および前記第2排気管(46)と前記第2タービン(24)に連通する第3排気管(68)との連通を遮断することにより、前記第1シリンダ列(12)の前記第1排気管(44)からの排気のみが前記第1タービン(22)の第1ポート(48)に供給されると共に、前記第2シリンダ列(13)の前記第2排気管(46)からの排気のみが前記第1タービン(22)の第2ポート(50)に供給され、かつ前記第2タービン(24)には前記内燃機関から排気が供給されず、前記内燃機関は動圧過給方式で動作し、
前記調節弁(26)の第2設定においては、前記第1排気管(44)と前記第2排気管(46)とを流体工学的に統合した状態で、前記第1排気管(44)および前記第2排気管(46)を前記第1ポート(48)および前記第2ポート(50)に連通し、かつ前記第1排気管(44)および前記第2排気管(46)と前記第3排気管(68)との連通を遮断することにより、前記第1シリンダ列(12)および前記第2シリンダ列(13)からの排気を前記第1ポート(48)および前記第2ポート(50)に供給し、かつ前記第2タービン(24)には前記内燃機関から排気が供給されず、前記内燃機関は静圧過給方式で動作し、
前記調節弁(26)の第3設定においては、前記第1排気管(44)と前記第2排気管(46)と前記第3排気管(68)とを流体工学的に統合し、前記第1排気管(44)および前記第2排気管(46)を前記第1ポート(48)および前記第2ポート(50)に連通し、かつ前記第1排気管(44)および前記第2排気管(46)と前記第3排気管(68)とを連通することにより、前記第1シリンダ列(12)および前記第2シリンダ列(13)からの排気が、前記第1タービン(22)および前記第2タービン(24)の双方に供給され、前記内燃機関は複合過給方式で動作することを特徴とする、自動車用の内燃機関。 - 前記内燃機関(10)の排気が流通する流路断面積について、前記第1タービン(22)が、前記第2タービン(24)よりも大きな流路断面積を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第1タービン(22)は、前記第1タービン(22)によって駆動可能な空気圧縮用の第1圧縮機(32)に対応し、前記第2タービン(24)は、前記第2タービン(24)によって駆動可能な空気圧縮用の第2圧縮機(34)に対応しており、前記第1圧縮機(32)と前記第2圧縮機(34)とは前記内燃機関(10)の吸気通路(30)内に配置されており、前記吸気通路(30)に圧縮空気を供給可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記第1シリンダ列(12)と前記第2シリンダ列(13)とが、相互に直列または平行に配置可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関(10)を備えた自動車。
