Description
まず、図1を参照しつつ、第1実施形態の燃料電池システム1について説明する。図1は第1実施形態の燃料電池システム1の一部の概略構成を示す説明図である。なお、図1は、燃料電池システム1の一部、具体的に、燃料電池スタック3、冷媒循環経路17及び空調システム30の周囲を中心として描いている。このため、以下の説明に登場する要素が図1中に描かれていない場合がある。燃料電池システム1は、車両、船舶、飛行機、ロボットなどの各種移動体に搭載できるほか、定置型電源にも適用可能である。ここでは、自動車に搭載した燃料電池システム1を例に説明する。燃料電池システム1は、固体高分子形の燃料電池2を含む。燃料電池2は、カソード電極、アノード電極、これらの間に配置された電解質膜を有する単セルを複数積層して形成されるとともに、内部にカソード流路3aとアノード流路3bとが形成された燃料電池スタック3を含む。電解質膜は、例えば、プロトン導電性の固体高分子電解質膜である。なお、図1において単セルの図示は省略されている。また、燃料電池スタック3内には、燃料電池スタック3を冷却する冷媒が流通する冷媒流路3cが設けられている。燃料電池スタック3には、アノード電極に水素ガス、すなわち、アノードガスが供給されると共に、カソード電極に酸素を含む空気、すなわち、カソードガスが供給される。そして、アノード電極における触媒反応により発生した水素イオンが、電解質膜を透過し、カソード電極まで移動して、酸素と電気化学反応を起こすことにより発電する。燃料電池スタック3には、発電した電気の電圧値を測定する電圧計と電流値を測定する電流計が接続されている。そして、冷媒流路3cを流通する冷媒は、燃料電池スタック3を冷却する。
つぎに、図7を参照しつつ、第2実施形態について説明する。第2実施例が、第1実施例と異なる点は、空調システム準備制御の内容である。従って、燃料電池システム1のハード構成は、第1実施形態と第2実施形態で共通している。以下、第2実施形態における燃料電池システム1の制御の一例につき、図7に示すフローチャートを参照しつつ、第1実施形態との相違点を中心に説明する。

Claims (6)
- 燃料電池スタックと、
前記燃料電池スタックを冷却する冷媒が循環する冷媒循環経路と、
前記冷媒循環経路に接続され、前記冷媒循環経路を循環する前記冷媒を共用する空調回路を含む空調システムと、
前記空調回路に前記冷媒を流通させる空調ウォータポンプと、
前記空調回路に配置されたヒータと、
前記空調システムに対する暖房要求が出されていない場合に、前記冷媒循環経路内の前記冷媒を前記空調回路に供給可能か否かを判定し、前記冷媒循環経路内の前記冷媒を前記空調回路に供給可能でない場合に、前記ヒータを作動させて前記空調回路内の前記冷媒の温度を第1の所定温度以上に維持し、前記冷媒循環経路内の前記冷媒を前記空調回路に供給可能である場合に、前記空調ウォータポンプを稼働させて前記冷媒循環経路内の冷媒を前記空調回路に引き込み、前記空調回路内の前記冷媒の温度を前記第1の所定温度以上に維持する空調システム準備制御を行う制御部を備えた燃料電池システム。 - 前記制御部は、外気温が所定温度以下である場合に前記空調システム準備制御を行う請求項1に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記冷媒循環経路内の前記冷媒を前記空調回路に供給可能でない場合に、前記空調回路内の前記冷媒の温度が前記第1の所定温度よりも高い温度に設定された第2の所定温度に到達したら前記ヒータの作動を停止させる請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記冷媒循環経路内の前記冷媒を前記空調回路に供給可能でない場合に、前記ヒータを前記空調システムに対する暖房要求があった場合の出力よりも低い出力で作動させる請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記冷媒循環経路内の前記冷媒を前記空調回路に供給可能である場合に、前記空調回路内の前記冷媒の温度を、前記第1の所定温度よりも高い温度に設定された第3の所定温度と前記冷媒循環経路内を循環する冷媒の温度との範囲に維持する請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記冷媒循環経路内の前記冷媒を前記空調回路に供給可能である場合に、前記空調ウォータポンプを間欠的に稼働させ、一回当たりの稼働時間を前記空調回路内の冷媒が、前記冷媒循環経路内から引き込まれた冷媒によって置換することができる時間以上に設定された請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池システム。
