Claims (5)
- 複数のトラックが設けられたスケールと該スケールに対して相対移動する検出ヘッドとを備え、該複数のトラックそれぞれの位置情報の出力が可能な位置検出回路を有するエンコーダにおいて、
前記検出ヘッドに設けられるとともに前記スケールに対する相対速度を検出する速度検出手段と、
前記相対速度と前記複数のトラックそれぞれの位置情報とに基づく微調整時間で、前記位置検出回路に対して前記複数のトラックの位置情報の出力を促す複数の出力要求信号の間に時間差を設ける遅延手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするエンコーダ。 - 前記複数の出力要求信号で出力された前記複数のトラックそれぞれの位置情報の時間微分値を求め、互いの該時間微分値の間の差分値を演算し、前記相対速度の時間微分値で該差分値を除算して除算値を求める演算手段を備え、
前記微調整時間は、該除算値がゼロに収束するように定められることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンコーダ。 - 前記微調整時間を定める際の除算値は、前記スケールの複数の位置それぞれで求められた除算値の移動平均とされていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のエンコーダ。
- 前記複数の出力要求信号で出力された前記複数のトラックそれぞれの位置情報の間の差分値を演算し、前記相対速度で該差分値を除算して除算値を求める演算手段を備え、
前記微調整時間は、該除算値がゼロに収束するように定められることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンコーダ。 - 前記微調整時間を定める際の除算値は、前記スケールの複数の位置それぞれで求められた除算値の移動平均とされていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のエンコーダ。
