Description
(1.本発明の分野)
本発明は、医療方法および医療デバイスに関し、より具体的に、医療膨張バルーンカテーテルに関する。

本発明は、特に遠位バルーン部分を通す、向上された「押し能力」(コラム強さおよび非対称先端部設計)とトルク能力(ねじり剛性)と有するバルーンカテーテルを提供する。本発明のバルーンカテーテルは、トルク伝送性質と連結された非対称の先端部設計の利益を用いて、向上された臨床制御、向上された開口拡張、および減少された脈管構造への外傷と共に、障害および障害物、例えば、ステント支柱およびきついターンを横切る向上された能力を有する。このようなバルーンカテーテルは、血管形成、薬送出、ステント展開等を含むさまざまな心臓手順に対して有用であり、脈管分岐に使用した場合に特に利点がある。
本発明はまた、以下の項目を提供する。

(項目3)
上記カテーテルが上記脈管構造を通って前進されるときに、上記拡張可能なスリーブは、上記カテーテル本体の遠位領域のコラム強さを増強し、平坦な前に面する表面を現すために、少なくとも上記バルーンの遠位領域を覆う、項目2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。(項目4)
上記カテーテルが上記脈管構造を通って引き抜かれるときに、上記拡張可能なスリーブは、上記カテーテル本体の遠位領域のコラム強さを増強し、平坦な近位に面する表面を現すために、少なくとも上記バルーンの近位部分を覆う、項目2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(項目5)
上記スリーブは、上記バルーンが膨張され、収縮されるときに、該バルーンにわたって拡張し、縮めるために、弾性である、項目2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(項目6)
上記スリーブは、上記バルーンが膨張されるときに割れる、項目2に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(項目7)
上記バルーンは、膨張された場合に、3mmから6mmまでの範囲の長さと、該バルーンの中央における放射状のマーカーとを有する、項目1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
(項目8)
上記バルーンは、拡延不可能であり、完全に膨張された場合に、1mmから5mmまでの範囲の直径を有する、項目7に記載のバルーンカテーテル。

Claims (6)
- 向上された横切る特性を有するバルーンカテーテルであって、該カテーテルは、
遠位末端部と、近位末端部と、該遠位末端部の近傍の膨張可能なバルーンとを有するカテーテル本体と、
該バルーンの遠位部分のみを覆う拡張可能なスリーブと
を含み、
該拡張可能なスリーブは、該バルーンが膨張されるときに該バルーンにわたって半径方向に拡張し、該バルーンが収縮されるときに縮まるように構成されており、
該カテーテル本体の遠位先端部は、該カテーテル本体の軸に対して非対称的に傾斜しており、
該カテーテル本体は、該カテーテル本体が脈管構造内にある場合に該傾斜している先端部の回転を向上させるために、少なくとも該カテーテル本体の遠位部分にわたって編組されている、バルーンカテーテル。 - 前記拡張可能なスリーブは、前記カテーテルが前記脈管構造を通って前進させられるときに、前記カテーテル本体の遠位領域のコラム強さを増強し、平坦な前に面する表面を現す、請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル。
