Description
本願は、2009年9月2日に出願された米国特許仮出願第61/239,321号、2009年9月3日に出願された国際出願PCT/US09/55950号及び2009年9月30日に出願された米国特許出願第12/570,667号のパリ条約による権益及び優先権主張出願であり、これら出願を参照により引用し、それぞれの記載内容全体を本明細書の一部とする。
Claims (15)
- 横断器具であって、
マイクロカテーテルにその近位端部のところで結合された本体と、
前記マイクロカテーテルのルーメン内に設けられたブレードに該ブレードの近位端部のところで結合された取っ手であって、前記マイクロカテーテル及び前記ブレードは患者の血管内における追跡性を提供する可撓性があり、さらに、前記ブレードが、患者の血管内における対象治療部位への血管内供給用のガイドワイヤを受け入れるように構成され、さらに、前記マイクロカテーテルに対して軸方向且つ回転方向に移動するように構成される、前記取っ手と、
ばねと、
を有し、
前記本体と、前記取っ手と、前記ブレードと、前記マイクロカテーテルと、前記ばねとが一体型ユニットを形成し、
前記ばねは、前記ブレードの鋭利にされた先端部を、前記マイクロカテーテルの前記ルーメン内の自然な位置から前記マイクロカテーテルの遠位端部を越えた伸長位置まで軸方向外側に前進するとき圧縮されるように構成されており、
前記ばねは、前記取っ手を近位に移動させるとき前記ブレードを前記伸長位置から前記マイクロカテーテルのルーメン内の前記自然な位置に向かって軸方向に引っ込めるように伸びるよう構成されており、
前記ブレードの鋭利にされた先端部は、前記ばねが当該ブレードの鋭利にされた先端部を前記伸長位置まで軸方向に前進させるように圧縮される時、閉塞部に衝撃力をもたらすことによって、当該閉塞部の一区分を穿刺または横断するよう構成されている、横断器具。 - 前記取っ手の近位端部に取り付けられて、前記横断器具と組み合わせた状態の補足的治療器具の適応可能な使用を容易にするよう構成されたルアーを更に有する、請求項1記載の横断器具。
- 前記ルアーは、前記補足的治療器具を前記マイクロカテーテルの前記ルーメンまで案内するよう構成されている、請求項2記載の横断器具。
- 前記ルアーは、前記補足的治療器具を前記ブレードのルーメンまで案内するよう構成されている、請求項2記載の横断器具。
- 前記補足的治療器具は、ガイドワイヤ、PTAバルーン及びステント器具のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項2記載の横断器具。
- 更に、前記取っ手に取付けられているプランジャーロッドと、ハイポ支持体と、を有し、
前記取っ手、前記ルアー、前記プランジャーロッド、前記ハイポ支持体、及び前記ブレードは、一体型ユニットからなる、請求項2記載の横断器具。 - 前記ブレードの前記先端部は、硬質材料からなる、請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。
- 前記ブレードの前記先端部は、中空の鋭利にされた反転先端部である、請求項1乃至7の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。
- 前記取っ手及び前記本体は、前記ブレードを前記自然な位置に配置できるよう構成され、
前記取っ手は、更に、前記ブレードを前記自然な位置及び前記伸長位置のうちの少なくとも1つに選択的にロックするよう構成されている、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。 - 前記本体は、前記マイクロカテーテルに解除可能に固定された状態で前記本体から離脱可能であるノーズを更に有し、
前記マイクロカテーテルは、前記本体から選択的に取り外し可能である、請求項1乃至9の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。 - 前記マイクロカテーテルの前記ルーメンは、前記ブレードを前記自然な位置から前記伸長位置に前進させているときに前記ブレードに回転運動を加えるよう構成された案内部材を更に有する、請求項1乃至10の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。
- 前記ブレードの先端部は、凹状端部又は凸状端部からなる、請求項1乃至11の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。
- 前記横断器具は、迅速交換器具として構成される、請求項1乃至12の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。
- 更に、ノーズガイドと、前記ノーズガイドに取り外し可能に取り付けられたノーズと、熱収縮部と、を有し、
前記本体、前記ノーズガイド、前記ノーズ、前記熱収縮部、及び前記マイクロカテーテルは、一体型ユニットからなる、請求項1乃至13の何れか1項に記載の横断器具。 - キットであって、このキットは、
請求項1乃至14の何れかに記載の前記横断器具と、
使用説明書と、
を含む、キット。
