Claims (14)
- 光パネルの組立て方法であって、
平面状光源であって、発光面と、発光面と実質的に平行に延在するバックシートと、平面状光源の外周よりも内側の位置でバックシートに設けられた離隔した複数の電気フィードスルー領域とを有する平面状光源を準備する工程と、
コネクタケーブルの第2の部分であって、開口を備える第2の部分をバックシートの複数の電気フィードスルー領域の各々に配置し、単一のコネクタケーブルの第1の部分を駆動回路に接続可能にする工程と、
開口を通して導電性材料を導入してコネクタケーブルの第2の部分をバックシートの複数の電気フィードスルー領域の各々に電気的に接続する工程と
を含む方法。 - 充填の後に、コネクタケーブルの第2の部分を電気絶縁体で覆うことをさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 有機発光ダイオード光源の組立て方法であって、
可撓性の平面状光源であって、発光面と、発光面と実質的に平行に延在するバックシートと、平面状光源の気密封止された外周から内側の位置でバックシート上に設けられた第1及び第2の電気フィードスルー領域とを有する平面状光源を準備する工程と、
バックシート上に単一の薄い可撓性コネクタケーブルを配置して、単一のコネクタケーブルの第1の部分を気密封止された外周の外側に延ばして駆動回路に接続可能にする工程と、
単一のコネクタケーブルの第2の部分をバックシートの第1及び第2の電気フィードスルー領域に電気的に接続する工程と、
電気的接続工程の後に、単一のコネクタケーブルの第2の部分及び第1及び第2の電気フィードスルー領域を絶縁体で覆う工程と
を含み、
接続する工程が、単一のコネクタケーブルの第2の部分に開口を設ける工程と、開口を通して導電性材料を導入する工程とを含む方法。 - 前記コネクタケーブルの長さ方向に前記第1の部分から第2の部分まで導電性トレースを絶縁することをさらに含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記コネクタケーブルの表面に前記コネクタケーブルの長手方向に離隔した複数の導電性パッドを設けて、バックシートの同様に離隔した電気フィードスルー領域との電気接点を確立することをさらに含む、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記導電性パッドをフィードスルー領域に電気的に接続する際にコネクタケーブルをバックシートに一時的に固定することをさらに含む、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記導電性材料が導電性エポキシを含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 充填の後に、導電性パッド及びフィードスルー領域を電気絶縁体で覆うことをさらに含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 充填時に、導電性パッド及びフィードスルー領域の少なくとも一方に圧力を加える工程を含む、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 充填の前に、前記コネクタケーブルをバックシートに接着剤で固定することをさらに含む、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 電気的接続工程の後に、コネクタケーブルの第2の部分及び電気フィードスルー領域を覆うパッチを貼付することをさらに含む、請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記平面状光源と前記コネクタケーブルが可撓性である、請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 単一の前記コネクタケーブルを複数の前記平面状光源に接続する工程を含む、請求項1乃至12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記フィードスルー領域にキャビティを設ける工程と、
前記開口を通して前記キャビティに前記導電性材料を導入する工程を含む、請求項1乃至13のいずれかに記載の方法。
