Description
Claims (10)
- 装置であって、
入力光学信号を伝搬するように構成された第1の光路と、
前記入力光学信号に関して第1の複数の離散的時間位相偏移を生成するように構成された第1の複数の電極であって、それにより、前記第1の光路の出力光学信号が、前記第1の複数の離散的時間位相偏移の和だけ前記入力光学信号に対して位相偏移される、第1の複数の電極と、
前記第1の光路の出力光学信号を伝搬するように構成された第2の光路と、
前記第1の光路の出力光学信号に関して第2の複数の離散的時間位相偏移を生成するように構成された第2の複数の電極であって、それにより、前記第2の光路の出力光学信号が、前記第2の複数の離散的時間位相偏移の和だけ前記第1の光路の出力光学信号に対して位相偏移される、第2の複数の電極とを備え、
前記第2の複数の離散的時間位相偏移は、前記第1の複数の離散的時間位相偏移に対して時間遅延を有する、装置。 - 前記第1の複数の電極はそれぞれ、前記第1の光路のそれぞれの複数の部分のうちの1つの部分に関連し、それぞれの光路部分は異なる長さを有し、
前記第2の複数の電極はそれぞれ、前記第2の光路のそれぞれの複数の部分のうちの1つの部分に関連し、それぞれの光路部分は異なる長さを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の複数の電極は、2n個の異なる位相偏移値のうちの任意の位相偏移値だけ前記入力光学信号の位相を偏移させるように構成されたn個の電極を含み、
前記第2の複数の電極は、2 n 個の異なる位相偏移値のうちの任意の位相偏移値だけ前記第1の光路の出力光学信号の位相を偏移させるように構成されたn個の電極を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の複数の電極は、前記和が2πラジアンより小さい最大値を有するように構成され、
前記第2の複数の電極は、前記和が2πラジアンより小さい最大値を有するように構成される、請求項1、2、または3に記載の装置。 - フォトニック整合フィルタであって、
コヒーレント光信号を受取り、前記コヒーレント光信号に第1の時間位相偏移パターンを適用するように適合される第1の光学任意位相波形発生器と、
前記第1の光学任意位相波形発生器の出力信号を受信し、前記出力信号に第2の時間位相偏移パターンを適用するように構成可能な第2の光学任意位相波形発生器と、
前記第1の波形発生器の出力から前記第2の波形発生器の入力に前記コヒーレント光信号を伝搬させるように構成された伝搬経路とを備え、
前記第2の時間位相偏移パターンは、前記第1の時間位相偏移パターンに対して時間遅延を有する、フォトニック整合フィルタ。 - 前記第1および第2の時間位相偏移パターンは、位相偏移値の疑似ランダムシーケンスを含む、請求項5に記載のフォトニック整合フィルタ。
- 前記第1および第2の光学任意位相波形発生器はそれぞれ、対応する複数の光路部分に関連する複数の電極を含み、それぞれの光路部分は、次の短い光路部分の光路部分長の約2倍程度である長さを有する、請求項5に記載のフォトニック整合フィルタ。
- 方法であって、
コヒーレント光学信号を受信するように光路を構成するステップと、
前記コヒーレント光学信号に関して、第1の複数の離散的位相偏移を生成するように第1の複数の電極を適合させ、第2の複数の離散的位相偏移を生成するように第2の複数の電極を適合させるステップであって、それにより、出力光学信号が、前記第1及び第2の複数の離散的位相偏移の和だけ前記コヒーレント光学信号に対して位相偏移される、ステップと、
前記コヒーレント光学信号に関して、第1の時間位相偏移パターンを生成するよう前記第1の複数の電極を制御するように第1の位相シーケンス発生器を構成し、第2の時間位相偏移パターンを生成するよう前記第2の複数の電極を制御するように第2の位相シーケンス発生器を構成するステップとを含み、
前記第2の時間位相偏移パターンは、前記第1の時間位相偏移パターンに対して時間遅延を有する、方法。 - 前記第1の時間位相偏移パターン及び前記第2の時間位相偏移パターンは、同じ時間位相偏移パターンである、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記遅延時間は、前記第2の時間位相偏移パターンと前記第1の時間位相偏移パターンとの間の時間相関をもたらす値である、請求項8に記載の方法。
