Description
以下、CHBにより化学修飾された修飾導電材を用いて評価用セル(リチウムイオン二次電池)を構築し、電池の過充電試験および放電特性を評価した。以下、具体的な方法を示す。
サンプル1〜10では、正極活物質層全体の固形分を100質量%とした場合のCHBの含有量を異ならせて評価用セルを構築した。具体的には、サンプル1〜10では、正極活物質層全体に占めるCHBの含有量が0.1質量%〜8質量%の間で異なる。それ以外は同じ条件とした。また、サンプル11では、上記CHBを保持した導電材に代えて、CHBが保持されていない従来の導電材を用いた。また、非水電解液中にCHBを4質量%添加した。それ以外はサンプル1〜10と同じ条件とした。
上記得られた各サンプル1〜11の評価用セルについて、25℃の環境下において、1Cの定電流で電池電圧が4.1Vになるまで充電し、次いで、4.1Vの定電圧で充電電流が1/10Cとなるまで充電した。その後、1Cの定電流で3.0Vに到達するまで放電を行い、このときの定電流放電における放電容量を電池容量とした。結果を表1の該当欄に示す。ここではサンプル11の電池の電池容量を100としたときの相対値で示してある。
上記得られた各サンプル1〜11の評価用セルについて、25℃の環境下において、1Cの定電流で電池電圧が3.7Vになるまで充電し、次いで、3.7Vの定電圧で充電電流が1/10Cとなるまで充電した。その後、10Cの定電流で10秒間の放電を行った。そして、放電抵抗を(放電直前の電圧−放電10秒後の電圧)/放電電流により算出した。結果を表1の該当欄に示す。ここではサンプル11の電池の放電抵抗を100としたときの相対値で示してある。
上記得られた各サンプル1〜11の評価用セルについて、25℃の環境下において、1Cの定電流で電池電圧が4.1Vになるまで充電し、次いで、4.1Vの定電圧で充電電流が1/10Cとなるまで充電した(SOC100%)。その後、1Cの定電流で充電を行い、SOC160%の過充電状態とし、電流遮断機構が作動したものを「○」、電流遮断機構が作動しなかったものを「×」と表記した。結果を表1の該当欄に示す。

Claims (6)
- 正極活物質層が正極集電体に保持された正極と、負極活物質層が負極集電体に保持された負極と、前記正極と前記負極との間に介在するセパレータとを備える電極体と、
前記電極体を非水電解液とともに収容する電池ケースと、
前記電池ケースに設けられ、前記電極体に接続された外部端子と、
前記電池ケースの内圧が予め定められた圧力以上に高くなると、前記電極体と前記外部端子との電気的な接続を遮断する電流遮断機構と
を備え、
前記正極活物質層は、正極活物質と導電材とを含んでおり、
前記導電材の少なくとも一部には、飽和環状炭化水素基を含む化合物が保持されており、
前記正極活物質層全体の固形分を100質量%とした場合に、前記化合物の含有量が0.5質量%以上8質量%以下である、非水電解液二次電池。 - 前記正極活物質層全体の固形分を100質量%とした場合に、前記化合物の含有量が4質量%以下である、請求項1に記載の非水電解液二次電池。
- 前記化合物は、予め定められた電圧以上の電圧になると前記飽和環状炭化水素基からプロトンが脱離し得るように構成されている、請求項1または2に記載の非水電解液二次電池。
- 前記飽和環状炭化水素基は、シクロヘキシル基である、請求項1〜3の何れか一つに記載の非水電解液二次電池。
- 前記化合物は、シクロヘキシルベンゼンである、請求項1〜4の何れか一つに記載の非水電解液二次電池。
- 前記非水電解液は、予め定められた電圧以上の電圧になるとガスを発生させるガス発生剤を含まない、請求項1〜5の何れか一つに記載の非水電解液二次電池。
