Claims (4)
- コネクタであって、
当該コネクタの接続方向に対して垂直な実装面を備える回路基板の前記実装面に光素子が実装された光モジュールと、
クラッド部及び該クラッド部内に形成されたコア部を備えた光導波路部材であって、前記回路基板の前記実装面に対向して配置された第1端面及び該第1端面の反対側の第2端面を備え、該第2端面に対向して配置される別のコネクタによって支持された光ファイバと前記光素子との間で光を伝搬するように前記コア部が形成された光導波路部材と、
を具備し、
電気信号コンタクトをさらに具備し、前記別のコネクタとの間で電気信号を伝搬可能であり、
前記電気信号コンタクトが、USB規格に準拠して形成されていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - コネクタであって、
当該コネクタの接続方向に対して垂直な実装面を備える回路基板の前記実装面に光素子が実装された光モジュールと、
クラッド部及び該クラッド部内に形成された複数のコア部を備えた光導波路部材であって、前記回路基板の前記実装面に対向して配置された第1端面及び該第1端面の反対側の第2端面を備え、該第2端面に対向して配置される別のコネクタによって支持された光ファイバと前記光素子との間で光を伝搬するように前記複数のコア部が形成された光導波路部材と、
を具備し、
電気信号コンタクトをさらに具備し、前記別のコネクタとの間で電気信号を伝搬可能であり、
前記第1端面における前記複数のコア部間の間隔が、前記第2端面における前記複数のコア部間の間隔よりも小さいことを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記光モジュール及び前記光導波路部材が、いずれか一方に備わる係合凸部と他方に備わる係合凹部との係合によって、前記接続方向に直列する配置で互いに連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記光導波路部材が、前記別のコネクタに備わり光ファイバを支持するファイバ支持部材と連結する連結部を有し、該連結によって当該コネクタと前記別のコネクタとの接続時に互いに連結されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載のコネクタ。
