Claims (27)
- タッチセンサパネルに導電性トレースを形成する方法において、
少なくとも1つのトレースが該トレースの長さ方向に沿って変化する幅のセグメントを有するようにタッチセンサパネルの1つ以上の境界エリア内で基板上に第1の導電性材料の積層体を形成し及びパターン化して1つ以上のトレースを生成するステップと、
基板上に第2の導電性材料の層を形成し及びパターン化して、各々が異なるトレースに結合された1つ以上の行を生成し、それらの行がタッチセンサパネル上の複数のセンサの一部分を形成するようにしたステップと、を備え、
各セグメント内のそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定であり、かつ前記トレースの 長さ方向に沿ったセグメントの間のエリアのそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定ではないように構成されている方法。 - 各境界エリアの1つ以上のトレースが1つおきの行にインターリーブ式に結合され且つ各境界エリアの全長に沿って少なくとも1つのトレースが存在するように前記積層体及び層を形成し及びパターン化するステップを更に備えた、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ある行のそばの境界エリアの特定部分内の全てのトレースが実質的に同じ巾となるように1つ以上のトレースのサイズを決めるステップを更に備えた、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 抵抗率が約0.4Ω/平方より大きな材料で前記積層体を形成するステップを更に備えた、請求項1に記載の方法。
- モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)から前記積層体を形成するステップを更に備えた、請求項1に記載の方法。
- モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)、アルミニウムネオジム(Al/Nd)及びMo/Nbから前記積層体を形成するステップを更に備えた、請求項1に記載の方法。
- タッチセンサパネルに信頼性の高い導電性トレースを製造する方法において、
少なくとも1つのトレースが該トレースの長さ方向に沿って変化する巾のセグメントを有するようにタッチセンサパネルの1つ以上の境界エリアに形成された導電性トレースを使用して、タッチセンサパネル上の行をタッチセンサパネルの縁へ引き回すようになっており、各セグメント内のそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定であり、かつ前記トレースの 長さ方向に沿ったセグメントの間のエリアのそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定ではないように構成されている方法。 - 各境界エリアの導電性トレースを1つおきの行にインターリーブ式に結合して、各境界エリアの全長に沿って少なくとも1つの導電性トレースが存在するようにする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- ある行のそばの境界エリアの特定部分内の全てのトレースが実質的に同じ巾となるように導電性トレースのサイズを決める、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 抵抗率が約0.4Ω/平方より大きな材料で前記導電性トレースを形成する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)から前記導電性トレースを形成する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)、アルミニウムネオジム(Al/Nd)及びMo/Nbから前記導電性トレースを形成する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- タッチセンサパネルの複数のセンサの一部分を、高い信頼性でそのタッチセンサパネルの単一の縁へ引き回す方法において、
少なくとも1つのトレースが該トレースの長さ方向に沿って変化する巾のセグメントを有するようにタッチセンサパネルの1つ以上の境界エリア内で導電性材料の積層体を前記複数のセンサの一部分に接続されたトレースへと形成し及びパターン化するようになっており、各セグメント内のそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定であり、かつ前記トレースの 長さ方向に沿ったセグメントの間のエリアのそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定ではないように構成されている方法。 - 前記複数のセンサの一部分は、行として形成され、前記方法は、更に、各境界エリアのトレースを1つおきの行にインターリーブ式に結合して、各境界エリアの全長に沿って少なくとも1つのトレースが存在するようにすることを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- ある行のそばの境界エリアの特定部分内の全てのトレースが実質的に同じ巾となるようにトレースのサイズを決める、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 抵抗率が約0.4Ω/平方より大きな材料で前記トレースを形成する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)から前記トレースを形成する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)、アルミニウムネオジム(Al/Nd)及びMo/Nbから前記トレースを形成する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- タッチセンサパネルの複数のセンサの一部分をタッチセンサパネルの単一の縁へ引き回すための信頼性の高い導電性トレースを備えたタッチセンサパネルにおいて、
少なくとも1つのトレースが該トレースの長さ方向に沿って変化する巾のセグメントを有するようにタッチセンサパネルの境界エリアのトレースへとパターン化された第1の導電性材料の積層体を備え、更に、
異なるトレースに各々結合される1つ以上の行を生成するようにパターン化された第2の導電性材料を備え、それらの行は、タッチセンサパネルの単一の縁へ引き回される前記複数のセンサの一部分を形成するものであり、各セグメント内のそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定であり、かつ前記トレースの 長さ方向に沿ったセグメントの間のエリアのそれぞれのトレースの幅は一定ではないように構成されているタッチセンサパネル。 - 前記トレースは、1つおきの行にインターリーブ式に結合されて、境界エリアの全長に沿って少なくとも1つのトレースが存在するようにした、請求項19に記載のタッチセンサパネル。
- ある行のそばの境界エリアの特定部分内のトレースは、実質的に同じ巾である、請求項19に記載のタッチセンサパネル。
- 前記第1の導電性材料は、抵抗率が約0.4Ω/平方より大きい、請求項19に記載のタッチセンサパネル。
- 前記第1の導電性材料は、モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)である、請求項19に記載のタッチセンサパネル。
- 前記第1の導電性材料は、モリブデン/ニオブ(Mo/Nb)、アルミニウムネオジム(Al/Nd)、及びMo/Nbの積層体である、請求項19に記載のタッチセンサパネル。
