Description
以下、第1実施形態について図面を参照して説明する。本実施形態では、ガス燃料を用いる副室式内燃機関として具体化している。図1は、内燃機関10の模式図である。
以下、上記第1実施形態の副室23及びその周辺の構成を変更した第2実施形態について説明する。本実施形態では、上記ベーン30を廃止し、副燃料噴射弁152から噴射される燃料により、副室23内の気体を旋回させる。なお、第1実施形態と同一の部材については、同一の符号を付すことにより説明を省略する。
以下、上記第1実施形態の副室23及びその周辺の構成を変更した第3実施形態について説明する。本実施形態では、上記ベーン30を廃止し、副室23内の気体を旋回させる方向に副燃料噴射弁152により燃料を噴射させるとともに、副室23内の気体を旋回させない副燃料噴射弁52により副室23内に燃料を噴射させる。なお、第1実施形態と同一の部材については、同一の符号を付すことにより説明を省略する。
Claims (5)
- 主室(15)と、
前記主室に連通する噴射孔(24)が形成され、流路断面積が前記噴射孔まで徐々に狭められた副室(23)と、
前記副室内に燃料を供給する燃料供給弁(52、152)と、
前記副室内の燃料に点火する点火プラグ(54)と、
前記副室の内面において前記噴射孔まで前記流路断面積が減少していく部分に設けられ、前記主室から前記副室へ流入する気体の流れが剥離することで前記気体を旋回させず、前記副室から前記主室へ前記副室の内面に沿って流出する気体を旋回させる螺旋状に延びる導流部(30、130)と、
を備えることを特徴とする副室式内燃機関(10)。 - 主室(15)と、
前記主室に連通する噴射孔(24)が形成され、流路断面積が前記噴射孔まで徐々に狭められた副室(23)と、
前記副室内の燃料に点火する点火プラグ(54)と、
前記副室内に、前記副室内の気体を旋回させる方向に前記燃料を供給する第1燃料供給弁(152)と、
前記副室内に、前記副室内の気体を旋回させない方向に前記燃料を供給する第2燃料供給弁(52)と、
を備えることを特徴とする副室式内燃機関。 - 前記第1燃料供給弁と前記第2燃料供給弁との燃料噴射割合を変更する変更手段(50)を含む請求項2に記載の副室式内燃機関。
- 前記機関のピストン(14)において前記噴射孔に対向する部分には、凹部(14a)が形成されている請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の副室式内燃機関。
- 前記点火プラグは、その中心軸線から外れた所定部(54a)から前記中心軸線に向かって延びる側方電極(54b)を有し、
前記副室において前記燃料供給弁により前記燃料が供給される被供給部(52a,57a,58a,59a)から前記所定部までの距離が最も長くなる向きに前記点火プラグが配置されている請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の副室式内燃機関。
