Description
Claims (8)
- 調整された空気を車両の乗員室の様々な場所に供給するための流体流れシステムであって、
車両のフロント方向にフロア部に沿って延びる複数の吸気ダクトと、
これらの複数の吸気ダクトのそれぞれに連通する複数の供給源と、
これらの複数の供給源のそれぞれに連通し且つ上記車両のヘッドライナーまで延びる複数の離間して配置されたピラーダクトと、
これらのピラーダクトのそれぞれに連通し且つ上記車両のフロント方向に上記ヘッドライナーに沿って延びる複数の排気装置と、を有し、
これらの排気装置は、複数のプレートを積層状に備えた流れ分配アセンブリを有し、この流れ分配アセンブリは、ほぼ平板状の第1のプレートと、ほぼ平板状の第2のプレートと、ほぼ平板状の第3のプレートと、を備え、上記第1のプレート、上記第2のプレート及び上記第3のプレートのそれぞれには、複数の流路が形成され、上記第1のプレートは、上記第1のプレートの流路の中へ流体流れをほぼ均一に分配し、上記第2のプレートは、上記排気装置内への流体流れの全体的な方向に対してほぼ直交する方向に上記流体流れを差し向け、上記第3のプレートは、上記排気装置からの上記流体流れの速さを増大させるように構成され、上記第2のプレートは、上記第1のプレートと上記第3のプレートとの間に積層状に配置され、上記流れ分配アセンブリを形成することを特徴とする流体流れシステム。 - 上記流路間の間隔と、上記第1のプレートの各流路の水力直径との少なくともいずれか一方は、上記排気装置内への流体流れの全体的な方向において上記第1のプレートを横切って変化する請求項1記載の流体流れシステム。
- 上記第2のプレートの複数の流路の少なくとも一つの長さの水力直径に対する割合は、少なくとも4である請求項1記載の流体流れシステム。
- 上記第3のプレートの一つの流れの累積的断面積は、上記排気装置からの流体流れの速さを増大させるように、上記第2のプレートの流れの累積的断面積より小さい請求項1記載の流体流れシステム。
- 更に、上記排気装置の吸気口内に配置されると共に上記排気装置に入り込む流体流れをほぼ均一に分配するように構成されているディフューザを有する請求項1記載の流体流れシステム。
- 上記第3のプレートの厚さは、約1mm〜約3mmである請求項1記載の流体流れシステム。
- 上記第2のプレートの厚さは、約6mm〜約10mmである請求項1記載の流体流れシステム。
- 更に、外壁部を有し、この外壁部のセクションは、上記排気装置の吸気口から上記吸気口の反対側の上記排気装置の端部にかけて傾斜している請求項1記載の流体流れシステム。
