Description
、低車速時の急減速による車両のふらつき等といった車両の挙動変化を感じることが増加する可能性はある。
際に、車両の挙動変化が生じることを抑制することができる。
まず、図1を参照して、本実施形態における電子制御スロットル装置の構成につき、詳細に説明する。
車両、典型的には自動二輪車に搭載され、アクセル開度センサ2、ブレーキスイッチ3、車速センサ4、ギヤポジションセンサ5、エンジン回転数センサ6、スロットル開度センサ7、ECU(Electronic Control Unit)8、及びスロットルバルブ9を備えている。
以上のような構成を有する電子制御スロットル装置1は、以下に示すブレーキオーバーライド(以下、BORという)制御処理を実行することによって、アクセル開度センサ2に異常が発生している可能性があるためにスロットルバルブの開度を制限する際、車両の挙動変化が生じることを抑制する。以下、図2(a)〜(c)に示すフローチャートを参照して、BOR制御処理を実行する際の電子制御スロットル装置1の動作につき、詳細に説明する。
でないと判断し、BOR制御処理をステップS3の処理に進める。
次に、図2(b)に示すフローチャートを参照して、BOR実施判断処理を実行する際の電子制御スロットル装置1の動作につき、詳細に説明する。
信号に基づいて、アクセル指示開度APの閉方向の変化量が所定変化量Aより大きいか否かを判別する。判別の結果、アクセル指示開度APの閉方向の変化量が所定変化量Aより大きい場合、CPU8bはBOR実施判断処理をステップS22の処理に進める。一方、アクセル指示開度APの閉方向の変化量が所定変化量A以下である場合には、CPU8bはBOR実施判断処理をステップS29の処理に進める。
次に、図2(c)に示すフローチャートを参照して、BOR開度算出処理を実行する際の電子制御スロットル装置1の動作につき、詳細に説明する。図2(c)に示すフローチャートは、ステップS2の処理においてBOR制御処理が実施中であると判定されたタイミングで開始となり、BOR開度算出処理はステップS41の処理に進む。
最後に、図3を参照して、上記BOR制御処理の具体例について説明する。
高車速時に速やかに減速させることができる。なお、CPU8bは、ギヤポジションに基づいて車両の走行状態を判別してもよい。ギヤポジションに基づいて車両の走行状態を判別することによって、減速比によって車両の減速度が変化しやすい状況を判別し、車両の減速を制御することができる。

Claims (3)
- スロットルバルブを駆動するアクチュエータと、
前記スロットルバルブの開度を検出するスロットル開度センサと、
アクセル操作部材による前記スロットルバルブの指示開度をアクセル指示開度として検出するアクセル開度センサと、
ブレーキ操作を検出するブレーキスイッチと、
前記アクセル指示開度に基づいて前記スロットルバルブの目標開度を算出し、前記スロットル開度センサによって検出される前記スロットルバルブの開度が前記目標開度に一致するように前記アクチュエータをフィードバック制御する制御装置と、
を備え、
前記制御装置は、前記アクセル指示開度が略一定である状態が所定時間以上継続し、且つ、前記ブレーキ操作が所定時間以上継続した場合に、前記スロットルバルブの前記開度を制限するように前記アクチュエータを駆動制御する制御モードを備え、前記制御モードを実行する際に、車両の走行状態に応じた減衰特性に従って前記スロットルバルブの前記開度を所定開度に漸減させ、
前記制御装置は、車速又はギヤポジションに基づいて前記車両の前記走行状態を判別し、低車速又は低ギヤポジションである場合には、高車速又は高ギヤポジションである場合に比較して、前記減衰特性を緩やかにし、
且つ、前記制御装置は、前記制御モードを実行している際において、前記スロットルバルブの前記目標開度が前記所定開度より小さい場合には、前記スロットルバルブの前記開度が前記目標開度に一致するように前記アクチュエータをフィードバック制御すること
を特徴とする電子制御スロットル装置。 - 前記制御装置は、前記制御モードを実行している際において、前記スロットルバルブの前記開度が前記所定開度に達しているか、又は、前記車速が所定車速以下である場合には、前記スロットルバルブの前記開度を前記所定開度より小さい第2の所定開度に漸減させ、前記ブレーキ操作が停止した場合には、前記スロットルバルブの前記開度を前記所定開度に徐々に復帰させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子制御スロットル装置。
- 前記所定開度は、ギヤポジション又はエンジンの回転数に基づいて算出されると共に、高ギヤポジション又は低エンジン回転数である場合には、低ギヤポジション又は高エンジン回転数である場合と比較して小さい開度であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電子制御スロットル装置。
