Description
透明な樹脂基板と、前記樹脂基板の内面側に位置するスイッチング素子と、前記スイッチング素子と電気的に接続された透明電極、前記透明電極上に位置する有機発光層、及び、前記有機発光層上に位置する反射電極を備えた有機EL素子と、前記樹脂基板の外面側に位置するとともに前記有機EL素子と対向し、表面プラズモン共鳴を利用したカラーフィルタと、を備えた有機EL表示装置が提供される。

Claims (7)
- 透明な樹脂基板と、
前記樹脂基板の内面側に位置するスイッチング素子と、
前記スイッチング素子と電気的に接続された透明電極、前記透明電極上に位置する有機発光層、及び、前記有機発光層上に位置する反射電極を備えた有機EL素子と、
前記樹脂基板の外面側に位置するとともに前記有機EL素子と対向し、表面プラズモン共鳴を利用したカラーフィルタと、
を備えた有機EL表示装置。 - 前記樹脂基板は、5μm乃至20μmの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記樹脂基板の内面は、シリコン窒化物、シリコン酸化物、及び、シリコン酸窒化物の少なくとも1つからなる内面バリア膜によって覆われた、請求項1又は2に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記カラーフィルタは、前記樹脂基板の外面に吸湿性接着剤を介して接着された、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- さらに、前記カラーフィルタを保護する保護フィルムと、前記保護フィルムと前記カラーフィルタとの間に介在するバリア膜と、を備えた、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記カラーフィルタは、周期的に配列された貫通孔を有する金属膜、または、周期的に配列された金属微粒子又は金属ナノロッドによって構成された、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の有機EL表示装置。
- 前記金属膜、前記金属微粒子、または、前記金属ナノロッドは、可視光で共鳴波長を持つAu、Ag、Al、Mg、Rh、Ir、Pt、Crを含む材料によって形成された、請求項6に記載の有機EL表示装置。
