Description

前記材料粒子を樹脂で被覆する工程と、
前記樹脂で被覆された前記材料粒子を成形して成形体を製造する工程と、
前記成形体を焼結する工程と、
を有する。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る放電表面処理用電極10を用いた放電表面処理の概要を表す概念図である。放電表面処理では、加工液16中に設置した被処理材料18と放電表面処理用電極10の間に放電を発生させ、そのエネルギーにより、被処理材料18の表面に硬質被膜20を形成する。放電表面処理において形成される被膜20は、放電時に溶融等した放電表面処理用電極10の電極材料、特に材料粒子を用いて形成される。

Claims (4)
- 被処理材料との間に放電を発生させ、そのエネルギーにより前記被処理材料表面に被膜を形成する放電表面処理用電極であって、
導電材料であって導通経路となる炭素に被覆された材料粒子を含む放電表面処理用電極。 - 前記材料粒子を被覆する前記炭素は、樹脂を焼結して形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電表面処理用電極。
- 前記樹脂はフェノール樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の放電表面処理用電極。
- 被処理材料との間に放電を発生させ、そのエネルギーにより前記被処理材料表面に被膜を形成する放電表面処理用電極の製造方法であって、
材料粒子を準備する工程と、
前記材料粒子を樹脂で被覆する工程と、
前記樹脂で被覆された前記材料粒子を成形して成形体を製造する工程と、
前記成形体を焼結し、導電材料であって導通経路となる炭素に被覆された前記材料粒子を生成する工程と、
を有する放電表面処理用電極の製造方法。
