Claims (5)
- 焦電効果及び圧電効果を示すセンサ素子を備え、該センサ素子の圧電効果及び逆圧電効果を利用して該センサ素子が出射する超音波の出射範囲内に存在する物体を検出する超音波センサであって、
前記センサ素子を照らす光源と、
前記センサ素子及び前記光源を制御する制御装置と、を備え、
前記制御装置は、前記光源からの光を受ける前記センサ素子の焦電効果による電位差に基づいて前記センサ素子の汚れを検出する、
超音波センサ。 - 前記センサ素子は、逆圧電効果を利用して超音波を出す送波用素子、及び、圧電効果を利用して超音波を受ける受波用素子の少なくとも一方を含む、
請求項1に記載の超音波センサ。 - 前記センサ素子は、逆圧電効果を利用して超音波を出す送波用素子、及び、圧電効果を利用して超音波を受ける受波用素子を兼ねる、
請求項1又は2に記載の超音波センサ。 - 前記センサ素子は、隣接して配置される複数のセンサ素子の配列で構成され、
前記制御装置は、前記複数のセンサ素子のうち、汚れが検出されたセンサ素子の動きを停止させる、
請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の超音波センサ。 - 前記センサ素子の汚れを除去する汚れ除去装置を備え、
前記制御装置は、前記センサ素子の汚れを検出した場合に、前記汚れ除去装置を作動させる、
請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の超音波センサ。
