Claims (4)
- 画像を印刷媒体に適用する静電アプリケータと、
前記印刷媒体に熱を加えて、静電画像を前記印刷媒体に定着するために、印刷機において回転するよう装着されたフューザロールと、
前記フューザロールにクリーニング剤を適用する装置とを備える、印刷媒体が静電画像を受ける印刷機であって、
前記装置は、
前記フューザロールに対して、ウェブ材料と共に供給リールを回転させる駆動機構と、
クリーニング剤が前記フューザロールに広がる前に、前記ウェブ材料にクリーニング剤を落下させることにより分配するようそれぞれが適合された複数のアパーチャを含む計量チャネルと、
前記ウェブ材料が前記フューザロールと係合するために延びた後に、前記ウェブ材料を受け取るよう配置されたテークアップリールと、
前記ウェブ材料の移動方向に関して前記供給リールと、前記フューザロールの近辺の前記テークアップリールとの間で回転するよう装着され、前記ウェブ材料が延びて通る第1ニップを前記フューザロールと共に形成する第1圧力ロールと、
前記ウェブ材料の移動方向に関して前記供給リールと前記テークアップリールとの間で前記第1圧力ロールよりも後に前記ウェブ材料と接して回転するよう装着され、前記ウェブ材料が延びて通る第2ニップを前記フューザロールと共に形成する第2圧力ロールとを含み、
前記ウェブ材料の移動方向に関して前記第1圧力ロールよりも後で前記第2圧力ロールよりも前において、前記ウェブ材料が前記テークアップリールに巻きかけられて、前記ウェブ材料のうち、前記第2圧力ロールと接した後の部分と前記テークアップリールで接触し、
前記複数のアパーチャは、前記ウェブ材料において前記第1圧力ロールに接する前の部分にクリーニング剤を落下させることにより分配し、前記第1ニップで、前記ウェブ材料と前記フューザロールの接触中に前記分配されたクリーニング剤を適用する、
印刷機。 - 前記複数のアパーチャが、前記ウェブ材料から外方を向く前記計量チャネルの面で一列に並んでいる請求項1に記載の印刷機。
- 前記複数のアパーチャが、前記計量チャネルにおいて等間隔である請求項1に記載の印刷機。
- 前記クリーニング剤が、前記計量チャネルの外側表面に流れ、前記計量チャネルの下部から前記ウェブ材料に滴下する請求項1に記載の印刷機。
