Claims (9)
- 液体燃料またはガス状燃料によって切り換え可能に運転される内燃機関(1)において、この内燃機関が、ガス運転時に液体燃料のパイロット噴射によって作動し、液体燃料による運転時の前記内燃機関(1)のシリンダ(2)への液体燃料の噴射のためおよびガス運転時の前記パイロット噴射のために、別個の噴射装置(5、8)が設けられ、これら噴射装置が、液体燃料を供給するために共通のアキュムレータ(6)に接続され、このアキュムレータが、少なくとも1個のポンプ(9)を介して燃料を供給され、前記アキュムレータ(6)に供給される燃料量が、圧力レベルに依存して可変であり、しかもガス運転時の前記パイロット噴射のための圧力レベルが、液体燃料による運転のための圧力レベルよりも低く、アキュムレータ(6)に供給される燃料量がポンプの吐出量の下限値よりも多くなるようにされていること、前記アキュムレータ(6)への燃料供給のために、ポンプ出力に段階をつけた少なくとも2個の別々のポンプ(10、11)が設けられ、これらポンプのうちの小さな出力のポンプ(11)が、少なくとも、ガス運転時のパイロット噴射のために必要な吐出量を供給することを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 前記液体燃料運転およびパイロット噴射によるガス運転で、液体燃料を前記シリンダ(2)に噴射するために、それぞれ互いに独立して運転される噴射装置(5、8)が設けられ、これら噴射装置(5、8)が、液体燃料による運転時に、前記パイロット噴射のための燃料量よりも多い燃料量をそれぞれ噴射するように設計されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記噴射装置(5、8)が、1個のユニットにまとめられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ポンプ(10、11)のうち、少なくとも1個または複数のポンプ(10)が、大型のポンプとして、そのポンプ出力を液体燃料運転に必要な吐出量に調整されていること、前記ポンプ(10、11)の少なくとも1個、即ち液体燃料運転のための吐出量に調整したポンプ(10)が作動停止可能であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ポンプ(10、11)のうちの少なくとも1個、即ち吐出出力を液体燃料運転のための吐出出力に調整したポンプ(10)が、継手(14)を介して分離可能に前記内燃機関(1)に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ポンプ(10、11)のうち、ポンプ出力の小さなポンプ(11)が、前記内燃機関(1)に駆動連結されている、および/または電動機(13)を介して駆動可能であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ポンプ(10、11)のうちの少なくとも1個、即ちポンプ出力の大きなポンプ(10)が、前記アキュムレータ(6)への燃料供給のために前記内燃機関(1)に持続的に駆動連結され、前記内燃機関を介して直接的に駆動されるかまたは電気的に駆動される、ポンプ出力の小さなポンプ(11)が選択的に作動可能であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ポンプ(10、11)のうちの少なくとも1個、即ちポンプ出力の大きなポンプ(10)が、短絡運転で運転可能であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記アキュムレータ(6)が、吐出出力を調節可能な1個のポンプ(10)を介して燃料を供給されることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関。
