Description
Claims (10)
- 電気刺激を供給する装置であって、
被検体の皮膚の刺激領域全体にわたって電流を空間的に分散する電流拡散器と、
前記電流拡散器に隣り合って配され、導電性液体ゲルを保持する非スポンジボリュームと、
前記非スポンジボリュームと流体連通し、前記導電性液体ゲルを格納する液体ゲル供給チャンバと、
前記非スポンジボリューム内の低減された流体圧力が、前記導電性液体ゲルを、前記液体ゲル供給チャンバから前記非スポンジボリュームに引き入れるように、前記非スポンジボリュームが前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域に取り外し可能に結合された後に、前記非スポンジボリューム内の流体圧力を低減するように構成される吸引ツールと、
を有し、前記導電性液体ゲルが、電気刺激を供給するように前記電流拡散器と前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域との間に電流を導通させる、装置。 - 前記液体ゲル供給チャンバが、前記非スポンジボリューム内の前記導電性液体ゲルの少なくとも部分的な減少に応じて、前記非スポンジボリュームに付加の導電性液体ゲルを供給する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- (i)前記非スポンジボリュームの一部をカバーする透過性ネットであって、前記非スポンジボリュームから前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域に前記透過性ネットを通じて前記導電性液体ゲルを伝達する透過性ネット;又は
(ii)前記非スポンジボリュームの一部をカバーする溶解性フィルムであって、前記非スポンジボリューム内の前記導電性液体ゲルが前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域と接触するように、前記溶解性フィルムの一部が前記被検体の皮膚と接触することに応じて溶解する溶解性フィルム、
のいずれかを更に有する、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記電流スプレッダは更に、前記刺激領域の周辺電流密度が前記刺激領域の中心電流密度より小さくなるように、前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域全体にわたって電流密度勾配を与えるように構成される、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記導電性液体ゲルが、前記刺激領域の前記周辺電流密度が前記刺激領域の中心電流密度より小さくなるように前記非スポンジボリュームにわたり分散された導電物質を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 電気刺激を供給する装置であって、
被検体の皮膚の刺激領域全体にわたって電流を空間的に分散する電流拡散手段と、
前記電流拡散手段に隣り合って配され、導電性液体ゲルを保持する非スポンジ液体ゲル保持手段であって、前記導電性液体ゲルが、電気刺激を供給するように前記電流拡散器と前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域との間に電流を導通させる、非スポンジ液体ゲル保持手段と、
前記非スポンジボリュームと流体連通し、前記導電性液体ゲルを格納する液体ゲル供給チャンバと、
前記非スポンジボリューム内の低減された流体圧力が、前記導電性液体ゲルを、前記液体ゲル供給チャンバから前記非スポンジボリュームに引き入れるように、前記非スポンジボリュームが前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域に取り外し可能に結合された後に、前記非スポンジボリューム内の流体圧力を低減するように構成される吸引ツールと、
を有する装置。 - 前記液体ゲル供給チャンバが、前記非スポンジ液体ゲル保持手段内の前記導電性液体ゲルの少なくとも部分的な減少に応じて、前記非スポンジ液体ゲル手段に付加の導電性液体ゲルを供給する、請求項6に記載の装置。
- (i)前記非スポンジ液体ゲル保持手段の一部をカバーする透過性手段であって、前記非スポンジ液体ゲル保持手段から前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域に該透過性手段を通じて前記導電性液体ゲルを伝達する、透過性手段;又は
(ii)前記非スポンジ液体ゲル保持手段の一部をカバーする溶解性手段であって、前記非スポンジ液体ゲル保持手段内の前記導電性液体ゲルが前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域と接触するように、該溶解性手段が前記被検体の皮膚と接触することに応じて溶解する溶解性手段、
のいずれかを更に有する、請求項6に記載の装置。 - (i)前記電流拡散手段は、前記刺激領域の周辺電流密度が前記刺激領域の中心電流密度より小さくなるように、前記被検体の皮膚の前記刺激領域全体にわたって電流密度勾配を与えるように構成される、
請求項6に記載の装置。 - 前記導電性液体ゲルは、前記刺激領域の前記周辺電流密度が前記刺激領域の中心電流密度より小さくなるように前記非スポンジボリュームにわたり分散された導電物質を含む、請求項6に記載の装置。
