Abstract
Description
1.(A)2-(sec-ブチルアミノ)エタノール、
(B)下記一般式(I)で表わされる有機酸、
HOOC−R−COOH・・・(I)
(Rは炭素数18〜34のアルキル基)
を含有する水溶性金属加工油剤組成物。
2.さらに(C)4-tert-ブチル安息香酸を含有する項1の水溶性金属加工油剤組成物。
3.組成物全量を100重量%とした場合、
(A)が0.5〜20.0重量%、
(B)が0.5〜20.0重量%、
(C)が0.5〜20.0重量%
を含有する項2の水溶性金属加工油剤組成物。
4. 項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の水溶性金属加工油剤組成物を水により希釈してなるクーラント。
5.項4のクーラントを用いて金属を加工することを特徴とする金属加工方法。
6.項5の金属加工方法が鋼球の研磨加工であることを特徴とする金属加工方法。
(B)下記一般式(I)で表わされる有機酸、
HOOC−R−COOH・・・(I)
(Rは炭素数18〜34のアルキル基)
を含有する。
一般式(I)のRが21のC21二塩基酸やRが34のC34二塩基酸が挙げられる。
本発明は、(A)と(B)を併用することで長期間のクーラントの使用でも摩擦係数の上昇が抑制されるため、長期間のクーラントの使用が可能となる
(式中、Rはアルキル基(直鎖・枝分かれ・環状物また二重結合・3重結合を保有するものも含む)AO(アルキレンオキサイド)は、EO(オキシエチレン基)、PO(オキシプロピレン基)、の1種または2種の混合物であり、それらの配列はランダムでもブロックでも良い。配合量は、通常水溶性金属加工油(原液)全量基準で1.0〜50.0重量%であることが好ましい。
上記金属加工としては、例えば、切削加工、研削加工、及び塑性加工等が挙げられるが、本発明は特に鋼球の研磨加工に好適である。
鋼球の研磨の加工現場を想定したクーラントの作製と摩擦係数測定を行った。
クーラントは、原液を40倍に希釈して作製し、試料とした。
この手法が、加工現場のクーラントの摩擦係数の変化による、ベアリング鋼球のサイクルタイム(研磨時間)への影響とほぼ一致していることが判った。
図2の回転劣化試験機のカップに試料300mlと、1/2インチ SUJ-2鋼球 100ケとFC-20相当の鋳物ドライ切屑(15g)を加えて30℃の温度で回転させ、ドライ切屑を鋼球で押しつぶし発生する活性鉄粉により、液を劣化させる。
試験機:曽田式振子式型 油性試験機II型
標準荷重:横軸荷重:80g×2(支点より34cm)、縦軸荷重:40g(支点より10cm)
設定温度:室温
測定方法:ボールとピンローラが接地する振子支点の摩擦部分に上記(1)試験で劣化させた劣化液を与え、振子を振動させ、振動の減衰から摩擦係数を求める。

- (A)2-(sec-ブチルアミノ)エタノール、および
(B)下記一般式(I)で表わされる有機酸、
HOOC−R−COOH・・・(I)
(Rは炭素数18〜34のアルキル基)
を含有することを特徴とする水溶性金属加工油剤組成物。 - さらに(C)4-tert-ブチル安息香酸を含有する請求項1に記載の水溶性金属加工油剤組成物。
- 組成物全量を100重量%とした場合、
(A)が0.5〜20.0重量%、
(B)が0.5〜20.0重量%、
(C)が0.5〜20.0重量%
を含有する請求項2に記載の水溶性金属加工油剤組成物。 - 請求項1〜3 のいずれか1項に記載の水溶性金属加工油剤組成物を水により希釈してなるクーラント。
