Description
上記第1の層に含まれているポリビニルアセタール樹脂は特に限定されない。上記第2,第3の層はそれぞれ、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂を含むことが好ましい。ポリビニルアセタール樹脂は1種のみが用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。上記第1,第2,第3の層に用いるポリビニルアセタール樹脂は、同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と可塑剤との併用により、合わせガラス構成部材又は他の層に対して、上記第1,第2,第3の層の接着力をより一層高くすることができる。
上記第1の層がポリビニルアセタール樹脂と可塑剤とを含むことにより、中間膜又は第1の層の接着力が高くなる。中間膜又は第2,第3の層の接着力をより一層高める観点からは、上記第2,第3の層はそれぞれ、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と可塑剤とを含むことが好ましい。上記可塑剤は特に限定されない。上記可塑剤として、従来公知の可塑剤を用いることができる。上記可塑剤は、1種のみが用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。上記第1,第2,第3の層に用いる可塑剤は、同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。
上記第1の層に含まれている酸化タングステン粒子は、遮熱粒子である。上記第2の層及び上記第3の層はそれぞれ、酸化タングステン粒子を含んでいてもよい。上記第2の層及び上記第3の層が上記酸化タングステン粒子を含む場合は、上記第2の層及び上記第3の層は、分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pと、該分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩P以外であり、かつ炭素数が2〜8である有機酸の金属塩Qとを含むことが好ましい。
上記第1の層は、分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pを含む。上記分岐構造を有する有機酸は特に限定されないが、分岐構造を有するカルボン酸であることが好ましい。上記分岐構造を有する有機酸又は分岐構造を有するカルボン酸の炭素数の好ましい下限は5、好ましい上限は12、より好ましい上限は10、更に好ましい上限は8である。上記炭素数が上記下限以上であると、中間膜及び合わせガラスの耐光性がより一層高くなる。また、上記炭素数が上記上限以下であると、中間膜の透明性がより一層高くなる。分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pは、分岐構造を有し、かつ炭素数が6〜12である有機酸のマグネシウム塩であることが好ましい。
上記第1の層は、分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pに加えて、該分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩P以外であり、かつ炭素数が2〜8である有機酸の金属塩Qを含む。有機酸の金属塩Qは特に限定されないが、カルボン酸の金属塩であることが好ましく、カルボン酸のマグネシウム塩又はカルボン酸のカリウム塩であることが好ましい。上記カルボン酸のマグネシウム塩として、例えば、ビス(酢酸)マグネシウム、ビス(プロピオン酸)マグネシウム、ビス(酪酸)マグネシウム、ビス(ペンタン酸)マグネシウム、ビス(ヘキサン酸)マグネシウム、ビス(ヘプタン酸)マグネシウム、ビス(オクタン酸)マグネシウム、ビス(4−メチル吉草酸)マグネシウム、ビス(3−メチルカプロン酸)マグネシウム、ビス(5−メチルカプロン酸)マグネシウム及びビス(カプロン酸)マグネシウム等が挙げられ、これらが好適に用いられる。上記カルボン酸のカリウム塩として、例えば、酢酸カリウム、プロピオン酸カリウム、酪酸カリウム、ペンタン酸カリウム、ヘキサン酸カリウム、ヘプタン酸カリウム及びオクタン酸カリウム等が挙げられ、これらが好適に用いられる。
本発明に係る合わせガラス用中間膜では、上記第1の層が紫外線遮蔽剤を含むことが好ましい。また、第1の層と第2の層とを少なくとも備える多層の合わせガラス用中間膜である場合にも、上記第1の層が紫外線遮蔽剤を含むことが好ましい。上記第3の層は、紫外線遮蔽剤を含むことが好ましい。紫外線遮蔽剤の使用により、中間膜及び合わせガラスが長期間使用されても、可視光線透過率が低下し難くなる。該紫外線遮蔽剤は、1種のみが用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。
本発明に係る合わせガラス用中間膜は酸化防止剤を含むことが好ましい。上記第1の層は酸化防止剤を含むことが好ましく、上記第2,第3の層は酸化防止剤を含むことが好ましい。該酸化防止剤は、1種のみが用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。
本発明に係る合わせガラス用中間膜は、必要に応じて、光安定剤、難燃剤、帯電防止剤、顔料、染料、接着力調整剤、耐湿剤、蛍光増白剤及び赤外線吸収剤等の添加剤を含んでいてもよい。これらの添加剤は、1種のみが用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。
本発明に係る合わせガラス用中間膜の厚みは特に限定されない。実用面の観点、並びに遮熱性を充分に高める観点からは、中間膜の厚みは、好ましくは0.1mm以上、より好ましくは0.25mm以上、好ましくは3mm以下、より好ましくは1.5mm以下である。中間膜の厚みが上記下限以上であると、合わせガラスの耐貫通性が高くなる。
図3に、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る合わせガラス用中間膜31を用いた合わせガラスを断面図で示す。

(1)中間膜の作製
ビス(2−エチル酪酸)マグネシウムを得られる中間膜中でマグネシウム及びマグネシウムイオンの含有量(有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pに由来するマグネシウム濃度)として25ppmとなる量及びビス(酢酸)マグネシウムを得られる中間膜中でマグネシウム及びマグネシウムイオンの含有量(有機酸の金属塩Qに由来するマグネシウム濃度)として25ppmとなる量とを含むエタノール溶液0.2重量部を用意した。トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート(3GO)40重量部と、酸化タングステン粒子を得られる中間膜100重量%中で0.07重量%となる量と、得られたエタノール溶液0.2重量部とを、水平型のマイクロビーズミルにて混合し、分散液を得た。
得られた中間膜を、縦30cm×横30cmの大きさに切断した。次に、JIS R3208に準拠した2枚のグリーンガラス(縦30cm×横30cm×厚み2mm)を用意した。この2枚のグリーンガラスの間に、得られた中間膜を挟み込み、真空ラミネーターにて90℃で30分間保持し、真空プレスし、積層体を得た。積層体において、ガラス板からはみ出た中間膜部分を切り落とし、合わせガラスAを得た。
合わせガラスAと大きさのみが異なる合わせガラスBを作製した。すなわち、得られた中間膜を、縦100cm×横100cmの大きさに切断した。次に、JIS R3208に準拠した2枚のグリーンガラス(縦100cm×横100cm×厚み2mm)を用意した。この2枚のグリーンガラスの間に、得られた中間膜を挟み込み、真空ラミネーターにて90℃で30分間保持し、真空プレスし、積層体を得た。積層体において、ガラス板からはみ出た中間膜部分を切り落とし、合わせガラスBを得た。
酸化タングステン粒子の含有量が、得られる中間膜100重量%中で下記の表2に示す含有量となるように変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、中間膜及び合わせガラスA,Bを得た。
実施例3では、実施例2で得られた中間膜を用いた。2枚のグリーンガラスをJIS R3202に準拠した2枚のクリアガラス(縦30cm×横30cm×厚み2.5mm)に変更したこと以外は実施例2と同様にして、合わせガラスAを得た。また、2枚のグリーンガラスをJIS R3202に準拠した2枚のクリアガラス(縦100cm×横100cm×厚み2.5mm)に変更したこと以外は実施例2と同様にして、合わせガラスBを得た。
有機酸のマグネシウム塩P及び有機酸の金属塩Qを用いなかったこと以外は実施例3と同様にして、中間膜及び合わせガラスA,Bを得た。
ポリビニルブチラール樹脂の種類を変更したこと、酸化タングステン粒子の含有量が、得られる中間膜100重量%中で下記の表2に示す含有量となるように変更したこと、並びに分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pと、該分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩以外であり、かつ炭素数が2〜8である有機酸の金属塩Qとの種類及び含有量を下記の表2に示すように設定したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、中間膜及び合わせガラスA,Bを得た。なお、ポリビニルブチラール樹脂として、平均重合度が1700であるポリビニルアルコールを、n−ブチルアルデヒドでアセタール化することにより得られるポリビニルブチラール樹脂(アセチル化度1モル%、水酸基の含有率31モル%、ブチラール化度68モル%)を用いた。
酸化タングステン粒子の含有量を、得られる中間膜100重量%中で下記の表2に示す含有量となるように変更したこと、並びに分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pを使用せず、該分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩以外であり、かつ炭素数が2〜8である有機酸の金属塩Qの種類及び含有量を下記の表2に示すように設定したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、中間膜及び合わせガラスA,Bを得た。
(1)第1,第3の層形成用組成物
ビス(2−エチル酪酸)マグネシウムを得られる中間膜中でマグネシウム及びマグネシウムイオンの含有量(有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pに由来するマグネシウム濃度)として35ppmとなる量及びビス(酢酸)マグネシウムを得られる中間膜中でマグネシウム及びマグネシウムイオンの含有量(有機酸の金属塩Qに由来するマグネシウム濃度)として35ppmとなる量とを含むエタノール溶液0.2重量部を用意した。トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート(3GO)40重量部と、酸化タングステン粒子を得られる第1,第3の層100重量%中で0.085重量%となる量と、得られたエタノール溶液0.2重量部とを、水平型のマイクロビーズミルにて混合し、分散液を得た。
ビス(2−エチル酪酸)マグネシウムを得られる中間膜中でマグネシウム及びマグネシウムイオンの含有量(有機酸のマグネシウム塩Pに由来するマグネシウム濃度)として35ppmとなる量及びビス(酢酸)マグネシウムを得られる中間膜中でマグネシウム及びマグネシウムイオンの含有量(有機酸の金属塩Qに由来するマグネシウム濃度)として35ppmとなる量とを含むエタノール溶液0.2重量部を用意した。トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート(3GO)60重量部と、酸化タングステン粒子を得られる第2の層100重量%中で0.085重量%となる量と、得られたエタノール溶液0.2重量部とを、水平型のマイクロビーズミルにて混合し、分散液を得た。
第2の層形成用組成物の作製において、ポリビニルブチラール樹脂として、平均重合度が2400であるポリビニルアルコールを、n−ブチルアルデヒドでアセタール化することにより得られるポリビニルブチラール樹脂(アセチル化度1モル%、水酸基の含有率20モル%、ブチラール化度79モル%)を用いたこと以外は実施例12と同様にして、中間膜及び合わせガラスA,Bを得た。
(1)可視光線透過率(A光Y値、初期A−Y(380〜780nm))の測定
分光光度計(日立ハイテク社製「U−4100」)を用いて、JIS R3211(1998)に準拠して、得られた合わせガラスAの波長380〜780nmにおける上記可視光線透過率を測定した。
分光光度計(日立ハイテク社製「U−4100」)を用いて、JIS R3106(1998)に準拠して、得られた合わせガラスAの波長300〜2500nmでの日射透過率Ts(Ts2500)を求めた。
紫外線照射装置(スガ試験機社製「HLG−2S」)を用いて、JIS R3205に準拠して、紫外線(石英ガラス水銀灯(750W))を、合わせガラスAに250時間及び500時間照射した。250時間照射後及び500時間照射後の合わせガラスのA−Yを上記の方法により測定した。
得られた合わせガラスB(縦100cm×横100cm)を、−18℃±0.6℃で16時間保管した。保管後の合わせガラスBの中央部(縦15cm×横15cmの範囲)を、頭部が0.45kgのハンマーで打って、粉砕されたガラスの粒径が6mm以下になるまで粉砕した。合わせガラスBの中央部(縦15cm×横15cmの範囲)を粉砕した後、中間膜の露出度(面積%)を測定し、下記表1によりパンメル値を求めた。

Claims (10)
- 1層の構造又は2層以上の積層構造を有する合わせガラス用中間膜であって、
ポリビニルアセタール樹脂と、
可塑剤と、
酸化タングステン粒子と、
分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩と、
前記分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩以外であり、かつ炭素数が2〜8である有機酸の金属塩とを含む第1の層を備える、合わせガラス用中間膜。 - 前記炭素数が2〜8である有機酸は、直鎖構造を有し、かつ炭素数が2〜8である有機酸である、請求項1に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記炭素数が2〜8である有機酸は、直鎖構造を有し、かつ炭素数が2〜6である有機酸である、請求項2に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩は、分岐構造を有し、かつ炭素数が6〜12である有機酸のマグネシウム塩である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記分岐構造を有する有機酸のマグネシウム塩は、ビス(2−エチル酪酸)マグネシウムである、請求項4に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記第1の層中のマグネシウム濃度が400ppm以下である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記酸化タングステン粒子が、セシウムドープ酸化タングステン粒子である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記第1の層は紫外線遮蔽剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 前記紫外線遮蔽剤がベンゾトリアゾール化合物又はベンゾフェノン化合物である、請求項8に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 第1の合わせガラス構成部材と、
第2の合わせガラス構成部材と、
前記第1,第2の合わせガラス構成部材の間に挟み込まれた中間膜とを備え、
前記中間膜が、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の合わせガラス用中間膜である、合わせガラス。
