Claims (3)
- 内燃機関のエアクリーナの吸気入口側に2つの吸気通路を有し、その一方の吸気通路に、吸気流に応答して開くフラップ機構を設けてなる内燃機関の吸気装置において、
上記フラップ機構は、
上記吸気通路を開閉するように一端の回動中心を中心として回動可能に支持された板状をなすメインフラップと、
このメインフラップに対し上記回動中心を中心として所定の角度をなすように設けられ、上記メインフラップと一体に回動する板状をなすダンパフラップと、
上記吸気通路の外壁の一部に、上記メインフラップの開動作に伴う上記ダンパフラップの回動軌跡に沿うように凹設され、かつ該ダンパフラップとの間にダンパ空間を形成するダンパ室と、
上記メインフラップを閉方向へ付勢する付勢手段と、
を備えてなり、
上記ダンパ室は、上記ダンパフラップの周縁が微小間隙を介して内壁面に近接し、上記ダンパ空間が実質的に密閉空間となっており、上記メインフラップが所定開度よりも大きいときに上記ダンパ空間を開放する連通路が上記内壁面に設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 上記ダンパフラップの先端縁に対向する上記ダンパ室の周方向の内壁面が、上記メインフラップの全閉位置から上記所定開度までに対応する角度範囲では上記ダンパフラップの先端縁に微小間隙を介して近接し、かつ、上記所定開度よりも大きい角度範囲では上記ダンパフラップの先端縁から離間するように外周側に後退して位置し、これによって上記連通路を構成していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
- 上記メインフラップが全開位置にあるときに、上記ダンパ室の上記吸気通路に対する開口部を上記メインフラップが閉塞することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
