Claims (18)
- 第1及び第2の導電層の間にある浮遊粒子エマルジョンの活性層であり、該活性層を介して電界を投射すると変化し得る光透過を有する活性層を備える切換可能なフィルム組立体であり、該フィルム組立体を電源に接続するための電気接続手段を有するフィルム組立体において、前記電気接続手段の少なくとも1つが前記第1及び第2の導電層と直接電気的に接触しない第1の遠隔電気接続領域を備え、前記フィルム組立体を前記電源に接続し、前記第1の遠隔電気接続領域が容量接続によって前記第1導電層と連結することで、前記切換可能なフィルム組立体の少なくとも一部分を介して電界を投射することによって、前記活性層の光透過を変化させることを特徴とする切換可能なフィルム組立体。
- 前記第1の導電層が第1のプラスチック基板で支持され、前記第1の遠隔電気接続領域が前記第1のプラスチック基板上に設けられる請求項1に記載の切換可能なフィルム組立体。
- 前記第2の導電層が第2のプラスチック基板で支持され、第2の遠隔電気接続領域が該第2のプラスチック基板上に設けられ、前記第2の遠隔電気接続領域が、前記第1及び第2の導電層と直接電気的に接触しない請求項2に記載の切換可能なフィルム組立体。

- 少なくとも一方の表面の一部に設けられた導電性塗膜を有する中間層材料である少なくとも一つの層を備え、前記第1遠隔電気接続領域が前記中間層材料の未被覆面上、又は該中間層材料の導電性塗膜上に設けられる請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記窓ガラス材料の第1のプライは、その表面の少なくとも一部に設けた導電性塗膜を備え、前記第1の遠隔電気接続領域が前記窓ガラス材料の第1のプライの導電性塗膜上、又は該窓ガラス材料の第1のプライの未被覆表面上に設けられる請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記第1及び第2の導電層と離隔した少なくとも1つの他の遠隔電気接続領域をさらに備える請求項4〜8のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 少なくとも一方の表面の一部に設けた導電性塗膜を有する中間層材料の少なくとも一つの層をさらに備え、当該少なくとも1つの他の遠隔電気接続領域が前記中間層材料の未被覆面上、又は該中間層材料の導電性塗膜上に設けられる請求項9に記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記窓ガラス材料の第1のプライが、その表面の少なくとも一部に設けられた導電性塗膜を備え、前記第1の遠隔電気接続領域が前記窓ガラス材料の第1のプライの導電性塗膜上、又は該窓ガラス材料の第1のプライの未被覆表面上に設けられ、前記窓ガラス材料の第2のプライは、その表面の少なくとも一部に設けられた導電性塗膜を備え、前記少なくとも一つの他の遠隔電気接続領域が前記窓ガラス材料の第2のプライの導電性塗膜上、又は該窓ガラス材料の第2のプライの未被覆面上に設けられる請求項6に記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記第1の遠隔電気接続領域がヒーターアレイ若しくはフィルム、アンテナ又は他の電気デバイスとも電気的に接続する請求項4〜11のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記第1の遠隔電気接続領域がバスバー、好ましくは錫めっき銅ストリップ、又は導電性塗膜を有する請求項4〜11のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 空中、地上又は海上の乗り物における窓として使用するか、又はビルの内部窓又は外部窓として使用する請求項4〜13のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 第1及び第2の平面電極層を備える切換可能なフィルムを設け、該層の各々が少なくとも一方の表面の一部に設けた第1の導電性塗膜を有するプラスチック基板を有し、これら層間に積層された活性層を有し、各導電性塗膜が該活性層の表面と接触する工程と、
前記平面電極層の少なくとも一方の基板の未被覆表面上に第2の導電性塗膜を形成することによって、遠隔電気接続領域を形成する工程と、を備え、
前記遠隔電気接続領域が、前記第1及び第2の平面電極層のうちのいずれかの第1の導電性塗膜と、直接電気的に接触しないことを特徴とする遠隔電気接続領域を有する切換可能なフィルム組立体の製造方法。 - 前記第2の導電性塗膜と、電気接続手段との間に電気接続を形成して前記切換可能なフィルム組立体を電源に接続する工程を備える請求項15に記載の方法。
- 第1及び第2の平面電極層の間に積層され、光透過が印加電圧によって変化する活性層を備え、前記平面電極層が少なくとも一方の表面の一部に設けた導電性塗膜を有するプラスチック基板を備える切換可能なフィルム組立体であり、
第1の導電性塗膜が前記活性層と第1のプラスチック基板との間にあり、第2のプラスチック基板が前記活性層と第2の導電性塗膜との間にあり、切換可能なフィルム組立体が前記第1及び第2導電性塗膜から離隔した遠隔電気接続領域を位置させ得る前記第1の平面電極の未被覆表面上に電気絶縁領域を有し、
前記遠隔電気接続領域が、前記第1及び第2の平面電極層のうちのいずれかの第1の導電性塗膜と、直接電気的に接触しないことを特徴とする切換可能なフィルム組立体。 - 少なくとも一方の面の一部に設けた導電性塗膜を有するプラスチック材料基板を備える第1の平面電極を設ける工程と、
前記第1の平面電極上の導電性塗膜に浮遊粒子エマルジョンの層を塗布して、活性層を形成する工程と、
少なくとも一方の面の一部に設けた導電性塗膜を有するプラスチック材料基板を備える第2の平面電極を前記活性層上に、該プラスチック材料基板を活性層と接触したまま設ける工程と、
前記第1平面電極、活性層及び第2平面電極を積層して切換可能なフィルム組立体を形成する工程と、を備える請求項17に記載の切換可能なフィルム組立体の製造方法。
