Description
Claims (5)
- エンジンと、前記エンジンを被覆するエンジンカバーとを備えると共に、前記エンジンの吸気通路が前記エンジンカバーで開口する船外機において、前記吸気通路にはスロットルバルブが設けられると共に、吸入空気の流れ方向における前記スロットルバルブの上流側に吸気サイレンサが設けられ、入口が前記エンジンカバーの内部空間に設けられる一方、出口が前記吸気通路において前記スロットルバルブよりも吸入空気の流れ方向における下流の位置で接続される2次空気通路を備えることを特徴とする船外機。
- 前記2次空気通路の入口は、前記エンジンカバーの内部空間であって前記エンジンのクランクシャフトの回転を前記エンジンのカムシャフトに伝達するタイミングベルトを被覆するベルトカバーの近傍に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の船外機。
- 前記2次空気通路に配置される2次空気用バルブと、前記2次空気用バルブを開閉するアクチュエータと、前記エンジンの運転状態に基づいて前記2次空気用バルブの目標開度を算出する目標開度算出手段と、前記算出された目標開度を前記エンジンの吸気温度と前記エンジンのスロットル開度に基づいて補正する補正手段と、前記補正された目標開度となるように前記アクチュエータの動作を制御するアクチュエータ制御手段とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の船外機。
- 前記補正手段は、前記吸気温度が所定温度以下で、かつ前記スロットル開度が所定開度以下のとき、前記算出された目標開度を第1所定値増加するように補正することを特徴とする請求項3記載の船外機。
- 前記補正手段は、前記吸気温度が前記所定温度以下で、かつ前記スロットル開度が前記所定開度を超えるとき、前記算出された目標開度を前記第1所定値より大きい値に設定される第2所定値増加するように補正することを特徴とする請求項4記載の船外機。
