なお、上記実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施してもよい。
Claims (11)
- 圧縮着火式内燃機関の1燃焼周期中に該内燃機関の1の気筒に対して、メイン噴射及び該メイン噴射に先立つ複数回の微少噴射を複数の噴孔が形成された燃料噴射弁に行わせる内燃機関の制御装置において、
前記内燃機関には、前記微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧に電気エネルギを供給することで該燃料噴霧の着火を促進する機能を有する着火促進手段が備えられ、
前記複数回の微少噴射のうち初回の微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧のそれぞれを、該複数回の微少噴射のうち初回以降の微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧によって、前記内燃機関の燃焼室に生じるスワールの方向につなげるように、該複数回の微少噴射を前記燃料噴射弁に行わせる処理を行う燃焼制御手段を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記燃焼制御手段は、前記内燃機関の燃焼室のガス密度、前記燃料噴射弁の燃料噴射圧、前記微少噴射に割り当てられた燃料噴射量及び前記燃焼室に生じるスワールの回転速度のうち少なくとも1つに基づき、前記微少噴射の噴射回数及び該微少噴射の時間間隔を設定する処理を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記燃焼制御手段は、前記複数回の微少噴射のうち初回の微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧のそれぞれを、該複数回の微少噴射のうち初回以降の微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧によってつなげるように、前記内燃機関の燃焼室に生じるスワールの回転速度を調節する処理を行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 圧縮着火式内燃機関の1燃焼周期中に該内燃機関の1の気筒に対して、メイン噴射及び該メイン噴射に先立つ複数回の微少噴射を複数の噴孔が形成された燃料噴射弁に行わせる内燃機関の制御装置において、
前記内燃機関には、前記微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧に電気エネルギを供給することで該燃料噴霧の着火を促進する機能を有する着火促進手段が備えられ、
前記複数回の微少噴射のうち初回の微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧のそれぞれを、該複数回の微少噴射のうち初回以降の微少噴射によって形成される燃料噴霧によって、前記内燃機関の燃焼室に生じるスワールの方向につなげるように、前記燃焼室に生じるスワールの回転速度を調節する処理を行う燃焼制御手段を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記着火促進手段は、前記内燃機関の燃焼室にプラズマを生成するプラズマ生成手段であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記プラズマ生成手段は、前記燃焼室に突出した電極を有し、該電極間の放電によって前記燃焼室にプラズマを生成することを特徴とする請求項5記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記プラズマ生成手段は、前記燃焼室に向かって電磁波を照射することで該燃焼室にプラズマを生成することを特徴とする請求項5又は6記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記複数回の微少噴射のうち初回の微少噴射から前記メイン噴射の前までに前記着火促進手段によって前記燃料噴霧に電気エネルギを供給する手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記複数の噴孔のそれぞれは、前記燃料噴射弁の中心軸線と直交する面上であって且つ該燃料噴射弁の周上に互いに間隔を空けて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記複数回の微少噴射の開始時点で前記燃焼室に生じるスワールにより活性種が拡散した状態になるように、前記複数回の微少噴射の前に前記プラズマ生成手段にプラズマを生成させることを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記複数回の微少噴射の燃料噴霧が存在している期間に、前記プラズマ生成手段に複数回プラズマを生成させることを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
