Description
前記ピストンスカートの摺接面に固体潤滑部が設けられ、
前記固体潤滑部は、銀、銀合金、銅又は銅合金の少なくともいずれか1種と、炭素材又は炭化物セラミックスの少なくともいずれか1種とを含有する内燃機関用ピストンが提供される。なお、本発明における「炭化物」には、炭化且つ窒化した炭窒化物が含まれるものとする。
Claims (6)
- 内燃機関のシリンダ内を往復動作するとともに、前記シリンダの内壁に摺接するピストンスカート(12)を有する内燃機関用ピストン(10)において、
前記ピストンスカート(12)の摺接面に、樹脂材を含有する中間層(54)が設けられ、
前記中間層(54)上に、銀、銀合金の少なくともいずれか1種と、炭素材又は炭化物セラミックスの少なくともいずれか1種とを含有する固体潤滑部(30)が設けられ、
前記中間層(54)を構成する樹脂中に固体潤滑剤が含まれることを特徴とする内燃機関用ピストン(10)。 - 内燃機関のシリンダ内を往復動作するとともに、前記シリンダの内壁に摺接するピストンスカート(12)を有する内燃機関用ピストン(10)において、
前記ピストンスカート(12)の摺接面に、樹脂材を含有する中間層(54)が設けられ、
前記中間層(54)上に、銀、銀合金、銅又は銅合金の少なくともいずれか1種と、炭素材又は炭化物セラミックスの少なくともいずれか1種とを含有する焼結体からなる固体潤滑部(30)が設けられ、
前記中間層(54)を構成する樹脂中に固体潤滑剤が含まれることを特徴とする内燃機関用ピストン(10)。 - 請求項1又は2記載のピストン(10)において、前記炭化物セラミックスがSiC、TiC又はTiCNのいずれかであることを特徴とする内燃機関用ピストン(10)。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のピストン(10)において、前記固体潤滑部(30)が線状形状又は点状形状をなしていることを特徴とする内燃機関用ピストン(10)。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のピストン(10)において、前記中間層(54)を構成する樹脂中に含まれる前記固体潤滑剤は、二硫化モリブデン、窒化ホウ素、グラファイトの群から選択される少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする内燃機関用ピストン(10)。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のピストン(10)において、前記ピストンスカート(12)の摺接面に凸部(26)が設けられ、且つ前記固体潤滑部(30)が前記凸部(26)にのみ設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関用ピストン(10)。
