Description
磁化率及び/又は磁気モーメントを増大させる方法、又は
磁界の大きな空間的変化を発生させる方法がある。
−複数の磁石のうちの二つにおいて、磁化方向(S→N)が、大きい辺(外側)から小さい辺(内側)に向かう、
−複数の磁石のうちの二つにおいて、磁化方向(S→N)が、小さい辺(内側)から大きい辺(外側)に向かう、
−複数の磁石のうちの四つにおいて、磁化方向(S→N)が、大きい辺及び小さい辺と実質的に平行である(これらの磁石のうちの二つでは、磁化方向は、外側から見て左から右に向かい、他の二つでは、逆方向に向かう)。
Claims (7)
- 磁性粒子を分離するためのデバイスであって、
磁性粒子分離処理を行わなければならない対象を受け入れるための内部空間(1)を持つ断面を有する不均一磁界発生器を備え、
前記発生器は、磁石用支持構造体(2)と、該支持構造体に位置決めされた複数の磁石(3)とを有し、
前記磁石(3)は、前記複数の磁石を含む平面に沿った前記発生器の断面で、複数の側部を持つ多角形形状を有し、
前記複数の磁石(3)は角度をなすよう配置されており、かつ、磁極の数Pが2より大きな偶数となるような磁界を前記内部空間(1)に発生させるため、前記複数の磁石(3)が、前記内部空間の周囲に少なくとも1つのリングを形成するようにリング状に配置されている、デバイスにおいて、
前記多角形形状は、六角形形状であり、
各磁石(3)は、前記発生器の前記断面内で所定の磁化方向(5)を有し、前記少なくとも一つのリング(4)の前記磁石(3)は、磁石の磁化方向(5)が、Δy=((P/2)+1)×Δθの角度進行に従うように位置決めされ、ここで、前記発生器の前記断面において、Δyは、一つの磁石と次の磁石との間の磁化方向(5)の変化量を表し、Δθは、一つの磁石と次の磁石との間の角度位置の変化量を表し、
前記多角形形状は、正六角形形状であり、
隣接する2つの前記磁石(3)の側面は、互いに平行に向き合わされており、
前記複数の磁石(3)は、内リング及び外リングの少なくとも二つの同心のリングを形成するように配置されている、ことを特徴とするデバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のデバイスにおいて、
前記発生器の前記断面において、前記複数の磁石(3)は、磁化方向と前記六角形形状との間の関係に基づいてN種類に分類され、N=1又はN=2である、ことを特徴とするデバイス。 - 請求項2に記載のデバイスにおいて、
磁極の数P=4である、ことを特徴とするデバイス。 - 請求項2に記載のデバイスにおいて、
前記断面において、前記複数の磁石は、複数の同心のリングを構成するようにリング状に配置されている、ことを特徴とするデバイス。 - 請求項4に記載のデバイスにおいて、
前記構造体は、前記断面に対して実質的に垂直なデバイスの長手方向軸線に沿って配置された、複数の磁石をリング状に配置することによって構成された複数のリングを有する、ことを特徴とするデバイス。 - 請求項2または3に記載のデバイスにおいて、
前記支持構造体(2)は、前記デバイスの長手方向軸線に沿って次々に位置決めされた複数の支持部材(21、22、23)を有し、各支持部材は、前記磁石(3)を受け入れるため、前記磁石(3)の前記幾何学的形状と一致する幾何学的形状の複数の穴(2B)を有する、ことを特徴とするデバイス。 - 対象の磁性粒子を分離するための方法において、
請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか一項に記載のデバイスの前記内部空間に前記対象を位置決めする工程を含む、ことを特徴とする方法。
