Claims (4)
- 複数のデータラインを通じて伝達された複数のデータ信号に対応する映像を表示する表示パネルと、
前記複数のデータラインを駆動するデータ駆動部と、
前記データ駆動部の駆動タイミングを制御するタイミングコントローラと、
前記複数のデータラインのうち、第1データライングループに一端が接続され、他端から正極性制御電圧または負極性制御電圧を選択的に印加される第1電荷充電部、及び第2データライングループに一端が接続され、他端から前記正極性制御電圧または前記負極性制御電圧を選択的に印加される第2電荷充電部を有し、前記タイミングコントローラの制御に応じて、前記第1データライングループ及び前記第1電荷充電部間の充電及び放電動作、及び前記第2データライングループ及び前記第2電荷充電部間の充電及び放電動作を選択的に行う際に、前記第1電荷充電部の他端及び前記第2電荷充電部の他端に前記正極性制御電圧及び前記負極性制御電圧が選択的に印加されることによって前記第1電荷充電部及び前記第2電荷充電部が電圧ブースティング動作を行い、前記第1電荷充電部の一端及び前記第2電荷充電部の一端の電圧がそれぞれ正極性または負極性方向でブースティングされるチャージシェアリング部と、を備えることを特徴とする、表示装置。 - 前記チャージシェアリング部は、
前記データ駆動部と前記複数のデータラインとを選択的に接続させる第1スイッチンググループと、
前記第1データライングループと前記第1電荷充電部とを選択的に接続させる第2スイッチンググループと、
前記第2データライングループと前記第2電荷充電部とを選択的に接続させる第3スイッチンググループと、
一端が前記第2スイッチンググループを通じて前記第1データライングループに接続し、他端から前記正極性制御電圧または前記負極性制御電圧を選択的に印加される前記第1電荷充電部と、
一端が前記第3スイッチンググループを通じて前記第2データライングループに接続し、他端から前記正極性制御電圧または前記負極性制御電圧を選択的に印加される前記第2電荷充電部と、を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 複数のデータラインのうち、第1データライングループに一端が接続され、他端から正極性制御電圧または負極性制御電圧を選択的に印加される第1電荷充電部、及び第2データライングループに一端が接続され、他端から前記正極性制御電圧または前記負極性制御電圧を選択的に印加される第2電荷充電部を有する表示装置の駆動方法であって、
前記第1電荷充電部の他端に前記正極性制御電圧が印加されて、前記第1電荷充電部が電圧ブースティング動作を行うことによって前記第1電荷充電部の一端の電圧が正極性方向でブースティングされて、前記第1データライングループの電圧レベルを上昇させる段階と、
前記第1データライングループに正極性データ信号が供給される段階と、
前記第1電荷充電部の他端に前記負極性制御電圧が印加されて、前記第1電荷充電部が電圧ブースティング動作を行うことによって前記第1電荷充電部の一端の電圧が負極性方向でブースティングされて、前記第1データライングループの電圧レベルを下降させる段階と、
前記第1データライングループに負極性データ信号が供給される段階と、を含むことを特徴とする、表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記第2電荷充電部の他端に前記負極性制御電圧が印加されて、前記第2電荷充電部が電圧ブースティング動作を行うことによって前記第2電荷充電部の一端の電圧が負極性方向でブースティングされて、前記第2データライングループの電圧レベルを下降させる段階と、
前記第2データライングループに負極性データ信号が供給される段階と、
前記第2電荷充電部の他端に前記正極性制御電圧が印加されて、前記第2電荷充電部が電圧ブースティング動作を行うことによって前記第2電荷充電部の一端の電圧が正極性方向でブースティングされて、前記第2データライングループの電圧レベルを上昇させる段階と、
前記第2データライングループに正極性データ信号が供給される段階と、をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
