Description
(2) (1)の染色方法において、前記第1ステップでは前記昇華性染料が塗布された基体の塗布面を染料昇華用のレーザ光により加熱することにより前記昇華性染料を前記被染色物に対して昇華させることを特徴とする。
なお、オーブン200による加熱は、被染色物10の耐熱温度以下で、できるだけ高温に設定された温度にオーブン内を加熱し、昇華性染料の定着に必要とされる予め定めておいた時間だけ行われる。例えば被染色物10の全体を一度に加熱する場合、実際の加熱温度は昇華性染料に対して50〜200℃程度、加熱時間は30分〜2時間程である
以上のような構成を備える染色システムにおいて、その動作を説明する。
1.テスト条件
(1) 上述した第1の実施形態で使用した染色システムを用いて、大気中にてポリカーボネイト板(50mm×50mm×2mm)の染色を行った。基体を作成するためのプリンターはEPSON MJ-8000C、インクは赤色の昇華性染料を含むニデック製 TTS INK RED NK-1を用いて印刷用紙に赤色の塗布領域を形成し基体を得た。
(2) 基体とポリカーボネイト板との間隔は0.8mm、レーザ光照射中のステージの移動速度を1mm/sとし、レーザ光源として日亜化学工業製NDV7113E(波長405nm)を用いて出力0.1Wにて基体上にレーザ光を照射した。レーザ光照射中、ポリカーボネイト板の染色予定領域全体に昇華性染料が蒸着するようにステージの移動制御を行った。
(3) 昇華性染料が蒸着したポリカーボネイト板をオーブン(ヤマト科学製DKN612)内に入れ、130℃、1時間の加熱条件にて定着作業を行い、染色を完了した。
染色後のポリカーボネイト板目視にて確認し、板表面のダメージもなく所望する色濃度にて染色されていることが確認された。
1.テスト条件
(1) 実施例1と同様の条件にて赤色の塗布領域を持つ基体を得た。
(2) 基体とポリカーボネイト板との間隔は1mm、レーザ光照射中のステージの移動速度を6mm/sとし、レーザ光源としてイエナオプティクス社製TOLD-45-CPXF1-K(波長808nm)を用いて出力2.5Wにて基体上にレーザ光を照射した。実施例1と同様にレーザ光照射中、ポリカーボネイト板の染色予定領域全体に昇華性染料が蒸着するようにステージの移動制御を行った。
(3) 昇華性染料が蒸着したポリカーボネイト板をオーブン(ヤマト科学製DKN612)内に入れ、130℃、1時間の加熱条件にて定着作業を行い、染色を完了した。
染色後のポリカーボネイト板目視にて確認し、板表面のダメージもなく所望する色濃度にて染色されていることが確認された。

(3) 昇華性染料が蒸着したポリカーボネイト板をオーブン(ヤマト科学製DKN612)内に入れ、130℃、1時間の加熱条件にて定着作業を行い、染色を完了した。
染色後のポリカーボネイト板目視にて確認し、板表面のダメージもなく所望する色濃度にて染色されていることが確認された。

Claims (2)
- 大気圧下において昇華性染料と被染色物との間隔を0.1mm以上10mm以下の間隔で離した状態で対向させ前記昇華性染料を加熱して前記被染色物に向けて昇華させるステップであって,前記被染色物の染色予定領域に対して前記昇華性染料の蒸着が部分的となるように定めるとともに前記昇華性染料が蒸着される前記部分的な領域が前記染色予定領域において経時的に変更するように前記染色予定領域における前記昇華性染料の昇華位置を相対的に移動させて前記染色予定領域に前記昇華性染料を付ける第1ステップと、
第1ステップにて前記昇華性染料が付けられた被染色物の一部の領域に対して染料定着用のレーザ光を走査して加熱することによって,前記一部の領域上に付けられた前記昇華性染料のみを前記被染色物に定着させて染色を行うことにより記号、文字、デザイン等からなる部分的な定着領域を前記被染色物に形成する第2ステップと、
を有することを特徴とする染色方法。 - 請求項1の染色方法において、前記第1ステップでは前記昇華性染料が塗布された基体の塗布面を染料昇華用のレーザ光により加熱することにより前記昇華性染料を前記被染色物に対して昇華させることを特徴とする染色方法。
